Hey, I had to learn about it too! ... :D

So my guess is that the Wagners used a quick drying cement that comes in a bucket, perhaps similar to the ones I posted.

They started before midnight then finished after midnight. I had thought they did it at something like 2:00am. Seems they did the crimes as soon as Dana came home and spent the majority of their time quick drying cement and probably burning whatever would burn. Clothes, masks, gloves, shoes, etc..

A burnt VCR is in evidence and the mag!ite from their cistern was exposed to fire.
:) I'm figuring around 2am is when they finished their massacre also. There's just so much we don't know though. I don't want gorey details but I would like to know the steps the W's took that night.

I guess I was showing my age by not knowing these products exist. It's been awhile since I had the need for any. ;) So there was no need to sit around waiting for the mud to dry. Hmm.
I also didn't know that it would harden under seal.
Thanks for the new knowledge!

It is a chemical reaction that makes it harden.

I agree 100% and here is what I found out - just in case you missed this. It fits what you noticed about Kenny. Sorry to be redundant if you saw this already.

Video of Jake's Hearing where he pleads guilty to all 23 Counts against him.
Starting at 20:29 in the video.

Judge Deering:

You are charged in Count One of this indictment and Miss Canepa related to alot of the things here so it might be somewhat repetitious but I feel it's the court's responsibility to review this with you. Your charged in Count One of the indictment in the following language, it states there that:

Edward Jacob Wagner on or about the 22nd day of April 2016 at the County of Pike in the state of Ohio did unlawfully and purposefully and with prior calculation and design cause the death of another......

Now, like deer in headlights, this is the exact moment when Jake and his attorney turn their heads and look squarely into the gallery and into the faces of the families.

......Kenneth Rhoden in violation of section 2903.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.

*** Now comes the loud siren noise ***

Looking over at the families Jake finally faces his moment of truth when the name of his first victim - Kenneth Rhoden - is read out in court by Judge Deering. RIP

Jake Wagner pleads guilty to 8 counts of murder five years after Pike County massacre
JMO I torn between when Kenneth Rhoden ‘s name is read and the child that makes a noise about the same time.

Also, Kenny's children were in the first row, they might have spoken some choice words to Jake as he began his confession.
good thought. I didn’t know they were in the front row but that explains it .

WAGNER, ANGELA JO

I wonder if there hasn't been an answer to this yet (going on 2 months) because Angie made phone calls from 4-22-21 - 4-27-21. Note the phone calls starting the same day Jake was in court to plead guilty. I don't think these are lawyer calls because of attorney client privilege. She must have been really shook up to make calls when it goes against Deering's court order.

You have a very good point here about the knife. It was more then just a knife. It had been used as a weapon. MO.
That line in the poem.
I forgot about it. MO.
MOOthe knife was also used on CR Sr

Why is LE, researching women’s boot tread if there wasn’t any women’s boot prints found at the murders scene, JMO there’s more evidence to come still yet and Angela Wagner was more than likely at the murders scene while it was going on, JMO
IMO I think it’s something to do with evidence from her vehicle .

There's also a product in buckets or bags called Tamm's Blue Line, sets underwater.

I've been pouring the Green Line today, sets in about 10 minutes. 50lbs only needs about 2 quarts or so of water.

Red Sakrete sets around 20 minutes, poured that today also.

We really haven't sleuthed the hours just after the crime yet. I agree with @almond they must have been done with the crimes about 2:00am.

Sunrise data April 22, 2016.

5:07am Astronomical Twilight
5:42am Nautical Twilight
6:16am Civil daylight
6:46am Sunrise
Sunrise and sunset times in Piketon, April 2016

What do we think they did between 2:00am and 5:42am (just a pick a time)? 3 hours 42 minutes.

They had to at least temporarily hide all of the evidence and the trucks, clean up and get back to Peterson for when LE stopped by.

Ideas?

Thanks for info.

If they put the buckets under H20 it makes sense to use Tamm's Blue Line as you pointed out.

Thing is we don't know if the buckets were in a pond or buried in dirt or both.

JMO I torn between when Kenneth Rhoden ‘s name is read and the child that makes a noise about the same time.
From my view, it looks to me that Jake and his attorney were looking slightly down, as if to look at someone seated very close in the gallery.

Just instinct, but I think if I heard a siren I would probably look towards the direction of the sound, maybe a window.

They had lots to take care of in the aftermath. It was dark, so clean up couldn't have been easy or thorough. They had to get their guns, etc into buckets and into a pond or buried in the ground. Burying in the ground would mean digging, unless they had the holes pre dug. Showering... I wonder if any of them slept. :(

My observations

It was turkey season and the hunters were legally allowed to start hunting 30 minutes before sunrise and sunrise on April 22nd 2016, was at 6:46am. So hunters could start hunting that day basically around 6:15am and many hunters would be out much earlier hiking/driving around getting ready to hunt so the Wagners needed to be done early and had to be much more careful that they were not being watched by hunters they couldn't see. Being hunters themselves I am sure they knew about every hunting opportunity Ohio had to offer.

I think hunting season played a part in their decisions about what to do with their evidence. The private property of FWF would be free from hunters lurking around and there were a lot of hiding places. The disadvantage to using FWF is that it might be searched so I think cement was used to help circumvent the metal detectors in case of a search.

They could have driven to some protected land where BCI would not think to search but then they had to weigh this against the fact that the farther they traveled the more likely they would be seen, or their vehicles would be seen. And then again there were hunters all over the place very early that morning.

So FWF, despite the chance of a search, evidently seemed to the Wagners to be their best bet in regards to distance, hiding places, familiarity, could plan ahead, hide cement, dig holes and/or pick out a pond, and to avoid the hunters.

Hunters Prepare for Ohio’s 2016 Wild Turkey Season

The 2016 Ohio spring hunting season opens on Monday, April 18, and the youth wild turkey season is Saturday and Sunday, April 16 – 17, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

The ODNR Division of Wildlife anticipates approximately 65,000 licensed hunters, not counting exempt landowners hunting on their own property, will enjoy Ohio’s popular spring wild turkey season before it ends on Sunday, May 15.

DEFENDANT'S OBJECTION TO EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR THE PROSECUTION TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL DISCOVERY

George's attorneys have filed alot of Motions countering the prosecution.
Playing hardball. Jake's confession hasn't stopped them, in fact, after Jake's
guilty plea in court George had a brief hearing in which Nash, one of his attorneys, said that George vehemently denies being involved with these crimes.

I agree with your assessment, CC. It's also why I believe the kids were at grannies.

Although, I like the theory one was removed from the home the night of the murders. However, I'm not sure the super criminals would have taken the chance on her waking during removal.

I don't want to believe someone drove the kids around as the murders were being committed.

These are the sort of details that are intriguing to me.

Sleuthers, what I’m getting ready to say might sound crazy but remember where dealing with the Wagners, JMO ( Does anyone else think that the night the murders was happening the Wagners made sure to do Dana’s house last, knowing that hunters was going to be on the road before daylight that morning, the Wagner Shooter could have took a shower at Dana’s house before they left and changed into hunting clothes so they could blend in with the other hunters that morning, remember 1 shooter, shot 5 people he needed a shower for sure, after they shower all they would have to do is bleach the shower, remember the photo of the bulletproof vest had some bleach photo in the background, JMO

What if right away BCI got a search warrant and checked the Peterson Rd. sinks, shower, washer, outside H20 sources etc.. with Luminol? We can't see trace blood so it's extremely easy to miss spots when cleaning.

Some neighbors on UHR heard gunshots very early and reported them after they found out what happened. Turned out to be hunters. Consider opinion without link.
