I don't know. I am looking at the schedule of interviews, the Ws had been interviewed by then, but most happened after. So I am not sure it was for them.He was still on the drug issue Jmo
WS is LE friendly.I think reader and his staff committed these murders and they may be framing the w’s
The news reported that the Rhoden s where infested with Bedbugs, what about the Wagners, because the little girl of Hanna May stayed with them on the weekend plus Jake also said he stayed part time with Hanna.BBM - ONE. Not all. One. That’s hardly all of the homes being infested. Further, if one looks at the invoice, the invoice from what I remember doesn’t say one home, or even two or four homes. It simply says bed bug treatment. We don’t know that every home wasn’t sprayed before being put into storage as a preventative. Either way, it’s still irrelevant to eight people being murdered and four Wagners with a combined 89 charges, inclusive of 32 counts of capital murder. JMO.
Good noticing! But, I noticed a charge for a camera on that very same list of purchased items. Is it possible an atmosphere of "carelessness" was created on purpose? (The trailers being the bait?) Depending on where that camera was used; it is possible it could film / record some interesting activities or was meant to... JMO.
From the article: " ... and a camera system totaled another $21,800."
Trailers from Pike County massacre moved again
Self delete. Topic appears irrelevant to the stated motive at this time. The news reported that the Rhoden s where infested with Bedbugs, what about the Wagners, because the little girl of Hanna May stayed with them on the weekend plus Jake also said he stayed part time with Hanna.

Do you think Sheriff Reader didn’t do a good job, I think he did a great job, by contacting the BCI in the first hour of the murders or maybe we would have never none who killed the Rhodens.
Tuck them in tight and say goodnight.I was thinking we put the bedbugs to bed.
JMO
I need to look at dates but I was wondering if any of the invterviews JW gave to CGraves with the Enquirer could have lead to LE focusing on the W’s. Those articles have always stood out to me because I’ve always noticed the vast contradiction in JW’s dialogue. <modsnip: no link to substantiate>DeWine was still (mistakenly) focused on Rhoden family and close friends back then. They were asking for people to come forward with information they didn't have. JMO, they were still thinking it was related to robbery, small time MJ dealing and drug use and familial jealousy or somesuch, but it seems very unlikely anyone on their list of potential suspects or witnesses knew anything about the murders. The Wagners probably kept everything to themselves, with the possible exception of John Doe.
It took LE nearly a month to get around to interviewing JW, in spite of being told about the custody battle. Even then, they seemed to write off JW as a suspect. Didn't bother to interview him or other Wags until year later when they were moving to AK. I wonder what made them finally look at the Wagners?

Only ONE Rhoden home was treated for bedbugs. To say "the Rhodens were infested with bed bugs" is inferring that ALL of their homes were infested and that is clearly not the case. Don't trash the victims please. Here is the link that shows only one crime scene had to be exterminated. The news reported that the Rhoden s where infested with Bedbugs, what about the Wagners, because the little girl of Hanna May stayed with them on the weekend plus Jake also said he stayed part time with Hanna.

Ohio AG Office: ‘unable to identify’ all Pike County costs
That is an interesting angle, Pepper. I’d never considered that but I do believe you have a very valid point. Do you think the W’s had the nerve to tamper with the crime scenes after they were placed in storage? These trials and the facts that emerge is going to be captivating.
The fact that the camera was purchased was mentioned in the article; listed along with the trailer expenses so the cost for the camera might have been billed close in time, if not at the same time, as the other trailer expenses. This may tie the camera in to the expenses of storing the trailers, themselves. I wouldn't think anyone who was guilty of the murders would fall for such a trick though. Not people who are currently being accused of using the very same tactics in preparation of murders, anyway. They would be only too familiar with such a trap and how successful it can be, imo. ALL jmo.
I agree. My response was more so directed towards the comment about the victims weren’t made to look any worse than what they already were and what had already been reported about them. I suppose I just don’t think it’s an accurate or fair statement to say the homes were infested because we, as the public don’t know that, ya know? We don’t even know which home was treated. I’ve seen with my own eyes a previous post from HHG only accepting furniture from her grandfather because she didn’t want to bring unknown furniture in her home due to the risk of bedbugs. Just my thoughts.
