Many details are involved in this case, some gruesome.

All five defendants are scheduled for further proceedings, and the hearing on the state’s application for an order allowing testing that could destroy or damage has finally been set for July 30 at 10 a.m.

July 30, 2025 News Channel 10 KFDA online article by Paige Stockton entitled ‘5 defendants meet for further proceedings in Texas County murder case’:

A good summary of some aspects of this case / these cases. Of note, for 3 of the 5 defendants this will be the last hearing before arraignment. MOO

Adams’ sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 28.
So that’s it? She’ll be sentenced in January with no trial?

Right. No trial. Right to sentencing on January 28, 2026.

A "no contest" plea means that a defendant does not admit guilt but also does not contest the charges against them, resulting in a conviction without a full trial.

Yep. Same as Bryan Kohberger - except it was a big deal about Kohberger, and apparently not much of a deal in this case. Maybe if some of the defendents were wealthy dentists...

Thank you I appreciate your effort. I posted that out of anger not lack of understanding.

Complete coward's way out. JMO. There's still abundant dirty laundry to be aired out and she's not having it.

I really wanted to watch her fry.
I felt introduced to different shades of evil...as we watched this case roll out.

I think normally prosecutors would release the details, but can't because of the upcoming trial of the others.

I know people just want to hate on her, but I honestly don't see a plea deal as cowardice. It's the smart thing to do, when there's so much evidence against you. Plus, it doesn't drain your family's finances trying to defend you.

@Cedars I appreciate your response. It's not so much that I want or need to hate on TA, it's that IMO she's a psychopath who showed heself capable of stopping at nothing to get what she wanted, to the point of conceiving, ordering and overseeing the brutal slaughter of two human beings in order to gain possession of her grandchildren.

JMO, but I don't see anything benevolent in her pleading no contest.

Right. She's certainly guilty and deserves what she'll get.

And I know people just want to express how they feel about her and what she did.

But I also like having a true understanding of what makes people psychopaths, and the thinking has long been it's because they don't feel fear. So then, it seems to me illogical to accuse them, as some do, of cowardice.

IMO, it would be a good thing if she was a coward, cause then she wouldn't have gone ahead with her murderous scheme!

I'll link to this old DM because it's the only news source that comes up.

I understand No Contest, but don't we all know the reality is Guilty? Hopefully, the sentence will reflect that.

Per KAKE.com: Texas County, Oklahoma court records show Tifany Adams pleaded no contest on Tuesday to two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of unlawful removal of a dead body and two counts of desecration of a corpse. Two counts of child neglect and one count of conspiracy were dismissed. Her sentencing is scheduled for January 28.

In other words, she agreed to be sentenced for the murders of Veronica and Jilian-- without pleading pleading guilty to murder. TA will spend the rest of her life in custody.

This was truly one of the most heart wrenching cases ever, for me.
They 'built' their little organization of their fake religion, greed and evil.

I do wonder the state of the son--Wrangler, or Ruger or whatever his gun name was. Revolver???
Anyway... does anyone have any updates of the children???

RSBM.
Wrangler Rickman is his name, I believe.

Yes, who ended up with custody of the poor children who were at the heart of all this, no fault of their own? Ms Grandmother was so intent on keeping the kids all to herself and under no circumstances, did she want the kids' own mother or her family to have custody. Probably didn't even want them to ever be able to see the kids, much less have custody. She wanted to keep these kids away from their own mother so bad that she decided to remove their mother from this earth entirely.

And this should have been just a sick fantasy in her demented, sinister mind, something that never had a chance in hell of actually happening... except that she somehow just so happened to have available within arm's length of her, a trio of "friends" who were equally as sinister and ruthless as she was. And who for some god-only-knows-why reason wanted to PLEASE her. Who wanted to do her bidding. Why?? Why did this woman matter? Why didn't one or all of them just tell her she's talking crazy talk and shut her up?

But instead, they actually let her talk about it, and then came up with a plan, such as it was, and most inexplicable of all, got up that day and set it in motion. And carried through with it, even as it went awry, even as there was more blood than they'd expected, even as the victims fought for their lives harder than they were prepared for... until Grandmother's self-proclaimed nemesis was dead, along with the lady who was just there to help and who no one had a thing against, not even those who took her life from her.

I'll never understand it. And then to just be arrested for it all in short order and be facing the rest of their lives locked up. They had to have known this would happen! Maybe not. Maybe they were so used to getting away with things in their little world, thought they were above suspicion, or at least prosecution. Thought they had the authorities in their pocket or wrapped around Grandmother's little finger.

And all because she wanted to raise these children and not have to share them with their OWN MOTHER. But after all that, who has them now? I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the very people Ms Grandmother conspired to keep them away from, Veronica's family. The one thing she did not want to happen, but in the end, she made it happen. What a stupid woman.

I wonder how like her is her son Wrangler, the children's father. It's possible he didn't inherit her evil DNA, but I'm not sure he should be allowed to raise those kids either, just in case. Anyone that woman raised must be damaged, imo. I hope those kids got away from her before they were too damaged to recover from it. It'll be hard enough on them growing up without their mother and especially when they find out all the details of why they don't have her, which I'm sure they will find out. Just such an all-around awful case.

Well summarized
Yes, she was so used to getting away with her queenship. She really believed she was above the law.
And I hope her new prison "friends " see right through her. ...keeping her in her place.
And I hope the kids are with their mothers family...not Wrangler. I hope we find out.
