Crazy isn’t it!

I would be wearing a helmet and a bulletproof vest, jacket, pants and shoes at this point.

The Trump take down is going to bring out more quacks because now it’s like a contest. For some people who were bullied or marginalized at some point in their lives would love to be the one who kills him.

Three attempts weeks apart is somewhat sensational and unprecedented. This in itself entices the mentally unstable fame seekers.

You're chocking this up to a "not an unusual occurrence" and a Trump supporter open carry weapon?
A shocking minimization of an assination plot/attempt.

Miller is believed to be a member of a rightwing anti-government organization, according to Bianco, and was plotting to kill Trump. He has a UCLA Masters degree, and in 2022 ran for Nevada State assembly, the newspaper reported.
Thank you for your post.

What's unusual is the number of close calls President Trump has faced recently. @Betty P The next one may succeed in assassinating him. JMO.

LE says Trump was not in danger. The Trump supporter who was found to have the weapons in his car has been released from custody. He does seem like a very shady person, <modsnip - no source for statement of fact>

Avoiding violent and aggressive comms on the campaign trail would probably go a long way towards lowering the risk of violence against candidates. JMO

The driver claimed to be a journalist but it was unclear if he had the proper credentials. Deputies noticed the interior of the vehicle was “in disarray” and a search uncovered the weapons and ammo, along with multiple passports and driver licenses with different names, Bianco said.

The man made it past an outer security boundary and was stopped at an inner perimeter patrolled by the sheriff’s department, Bianco said. Another security checkpoint closer to the rally site was operated by the Secret Service.

Bianco on Sunday said Miller’s vehicle, was unregistered and had a homemade license plate, a practice used by members of the far-right sovereign citizens movement.

Yep, he appears to be denying all of the claims. The claim he was there to shoot Trump, fake passports, all of it.
From the link
"No federal charges have been filed, and neither the Secret Service nor the FBI believe it was a planned assassination attempt."

Your right Trump wasn’t in danger when he was arrested because he wasn’t even on the stage at that point.
But at this point I have lost all faith in the alphabet agencies as to what they say.

I hope Congress is following up on this case, the feds seem to be brushing it off. The guy may be weird, but more importantly - he is dangerous.

He may say he is a Trump supporter, but he is clearly deranged and who knows what his motives were and are.

I haven't read much about this guy but where are you getting that he's weird, dangerous, and deranged?

From the articles posted of his interview post-arrest and from the county Sheriff. Suspect had a cache of fake passports, driver's licenses, fake license plates, an unregistered vehicle, and was in possession of an illegal shotgun, and had a loaded handgun and high capacity magazine in his SUV.

Quote from county Sheriff (Bianco) whose officers arrested the guy:

At an afternoon news conference on Sunday, Bianco bristled when a reporter suggested the sheriff’s statement that Miller planned to kill Trump was “dramatic.”

Said Bianco: “If you are asking me right now, I probably did have deputies that prevented the third assassination attempt. If we are that politically lost that we have lost sight of common sense and reality and reason that we can’t say ‘Holy crap, why’d he show up with all that stuff for and loaded guns?’ and I am going to be accused of being dramatic? We have a serious, serious problem in this country. Because this is common sense and reason.”

Thanks, I've since read more MSM links to brush up. He's denying a lot of the accusations, explaining his different passports with different names (all him, none fake), even said he was the one who told the guys at the checkpoint the guns were in his trunk.

I'm getting the impression this is being hyped to be something it wasn't.

The article is behind a paywall for me. Curious what grounds he's suing on?

From the article…

The man charged with bringing illegal guns to a Trump rally now plans to sue the California sheriff who arrested him and said he was possibly there to assassinate the former president.

Vem Miller, the 49-year-old Las Vegas resident arrested Saturday with a shotgun and a pistol in his car outside the rally in Coachella Valley, California, said he plans to bring a “massive lawsuit” against Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco.

Mr. Miller said the sheriff made false claims that he was a would-be assassin.

“Everything they said about me is untrue, provably so,” Mr. Miller told the Los Angeles Times on Monday. “Unfortunately, he appears to have committed career suicide.”

Good for him. If it's all true, what he claims, he deserves to win the suit.
If he's full of baloney, let that be made perfectly clear.
Let the facts decide this, and nothing else.

He's a Sovereign Citizen so he's definitely full of baloney.
Sovereign citizens are anti-government extremists who believe that even though they physically reside in this country, they are separate or “sovereign” from the United States.

If we actually get all the facts. We aren’t getting the full story on Crooks and the July 13 event. OMO.
