A task force is good news, look how fast they found the doctors killer with the task force..

I sincerely hope the task force helps. TO me the forming of a task force indicates LE is currently nowhere :(

hope I am wrong.

  • #844
Why are they doing this now??? Why not much sooner?

  • #845
Ackk...when is LE going to find the perp? I just knew that an arrest would be made today. :(
Having a task force makes me wonder if LE has any true leads.

  • #846
Hopefully if they don't have any good leads by handing over all information to a task force they can make sense of it. They will have all agencies to get the information from too.

It's still hard to believe they haven't found them. They must have booked it out of there asap and maybe someone in the area who has lived there a long time is not suspected of harboring them. jmo

Why was N out of school on the days prior to the event in question, and for how many days? Thanks in advance.

  • #848
From what I have read, N was out the prior Thursday & Friday & came to school that morning, 1/14/13, a Monday, a few minutes or so late. The mystery woman came shortly after to abduct N. iirc

If they have it down to a 4 block area (or maybe smaller?, can they not just locate the vacated houses and have a couple cops do a process of elimination?

  • #850
They would need permission to enter any vacant houses. When Isabel Celis disappeared, there were many rental homes with out of state owners who had to be contacted. The lawyers dealt with a lot of that stuff. They did do visual searches from the outside of the vacant properties but still had to wait to enter. In an area like this with 2 stories, possible attics & basements, they might not see anything to alert them. So they need to locate the owners if vacant.

No news at all this morning that I could find. I really don't want this case to go cold. I'm just hoping LE has more, but questioning the wrong "China" has now left me doubting that they know anything more than what they've let the public know. I hope I'm wrong.

(I do understand if it was a viable lead and a woman named China in the area, that they needed to check it out - it just means that they really have no idea who the real China is)

I've been thinking about something and thought I would
throw it out there... anyone else wonder if a classmate's
family member could be responsible? Did N have play dates,
attend parties, go to sleep overs, etc. Could it be possible
that an adult man became infatuated with her- and a willing partner
"got" the child- obtained information, lives in the area, etc.
Could she have been put under the bed so that she did not
come into contact with another child she knows from school?
Just some random thoughts.... any reasons it could or could not
be a possibility?

I think N would have recognized if it was someone's parent she had met before. She said she did not know any of them in the house.

Welcome LuBella! I think I know what you mean. This person may not have made an impression on her the first ,second or even the third time he/she may have met "N" because little ones worlds are their family and friends.
Some adults may be classified as extras and dismissed in her who's important who's not mind set..

I think this idea is one to be considered, too!

How about a classmate's uncle, an older male cousin, step brother, friend of
classmate's family, etc. Someone she may have crossed paths with- but not really paid attention to or necessarily remember. I am trying to think of ways that someone may "know" N without her (or her family) knowing the abductors, kwim? I am finding it so strange that this case hasn't been solved yet.

Yes... Thank you for explaining it better. :)

I think every home within a 1 or 2 mile area needs to be searched from top to bottom including looking under beds, in closets, attics crawl spaces. And it should be done at random times and intervals. These perps need to be found stat.

Seeing this go cold would be a nightmare! Can you imagine having to go through life not knowing if the next person you meet, is the one that kidnapped you? I pray every day for baby "N" may god give her mother strength to get through this.

There are 14,000 people per square mile in Philadelphia and Upper Darby. So, to look at every home would be close to impossible.

I think LE needs to look at the right homes and in a close knit, densely popultaed area, the neighbors can lead the way.
