PA PA - Kada Scott, 23, left work early, car found in work parking lot, phone is off, Philadelphia Oct. 4, 2025.

No one has brought it up but I think it’s worth checking out Kada’s Pinterest. It gives a sense of her goals and where she was at in life. Seemed like she was highly driven and determined to reach her goals. Where are you Kada?
Wow that’s alot - just like the rest of her social media pretty new, nothing over two years old. In the case of this pintrest account, over a year old.

Sort of curious what happened to her older social media accounts? Someone mentioned “reinvention”. Sort of seems like that may be true?

They are 2 unrelated items.

1 - it was only reported if her leaving work, we don’t know how many people witnessed her actually leaving and it seems there is no video evidence. So was it a staff, multiple staff, resident - who actually witnessed

2 - is it possible it was assumed she “left” but wasn’t actually observed leaving in which case, is she still in the building somewhere. Did a resident assault her and it is unknown, or covered up, or a staff involved

Imo I hope they have solid evidence to say she left

The new search info may indicate they have some kind of evidence of her leaving
As the only solid timeline was K leaving home at 9.45 but her car is in work car park could she have been accosted on the way into work? No colleague/resident appears to be confirmed as seeing her in work and presumably that shift didn’t start until 10 pm.
Was the car parked by her or someone else to throw people off the scent?
Just some thoughts

Homicide unit?

So....homicide. :(

Sorry to hear this, but it does mean they have some info that we don't know about. The case isn't turned over to homicide unless there is evidence of a homicide.

What the heck happened?!

"The circumstances of her disappearance remain unclear, and police do not believe she went missing voluntarily."

Because she's missing or something specific? Sign of a scuffle? I just can't imagine what.

From the above posted article - “Action News has learned police searched a home last Thursday night on the 5500 block of Belmar Terrace in Southwest Philadelphia … There was no word on whether anything related to the investigation was found.”

Bringing this forward from page 3 of the thread. I thought we knew she was a graduate of U Penn but this post on X indicates otherwise...?
I had posted UPenn earlier because I was convinced I had seen it stated somewhere. But then all the latest articles said Penn State. Sorry if I contributed to the confusion. I since deleted that post.

I posted this in a separate conversation so apologies to those who have to read it again (or skip it, I won’t be offended!):
Re: eligibility requirements, Miss USA Pennsylvania states the following for contestants:

“ALL DELEGATES • Must be of good health and moral character • Must be a Citizen of the United States • Must be recognized medically and legally as a female in the United States, and at least one of the following three statements must be true:

(1) Must now reside in their state as their permanent and primary residence for a period of at least ninety (90) days immediately prior to the beginning of their state pageant (although they may have attended college or University elsewhere, or work full time in another state); or

(2)
Must have resided in the State as a full-time student at a school, college or university for one full semester, trimester or summer session immediately prior to the state pageant, and still enrolled as a full-time student at a school, college or university and will continue to reside in the state (although they may spend the summer in another state). or

(3)
Must retain full-time employment in the State (i.e., I work at least forty (40) hours per week in the State, and I qualify for employment benefits provided by my employer) and have maintained such full-time employment for a period of at least ninety (90) days prior to the date of the State Pageant.”

I post these requirements for two reasons:

1) I wonder if perhaps she took the not-prestigious (but extremely important!) job in the assisted living facility simply as a way to fulfill the third requirement. She claims on her LinkedIn to have graduated from college in 2023, but was in the 2025 Miss USA Pennsylvania competition, so she would not have met the second criteria as it states delegates must have held/were going to hold full-time student status up to and after the state competition.

Related to that “student status” thing, I am not positive, but wonder if perhaps she might not have graduated from PSU University Park, as her LinkedIn profile suggests she does (I could not find the name “Kada Scott” in the 2023 PSU Commencement programs for the College of Communications OR the College of Liberal Arts at Penn State’s main campus (and PSU’s main campus does not even appear to offer a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts/Liberal Studies, which is what her LI profile says she majored in). Here is the page where that program, and other programs for the summer and fall commencement ceremonies can be found, if others would like to look for themselves : Past Graduates & Commencement Programs Archive

2): I wonder if perhaps she could have been being harassed/blackmailed by someone who knew she didn’t meet one of the Miss USA Pennsylvania eligibility requirements (“good moral character,” as deposed Miss America Vanessa Williams can attest, is a requirement it is pretty easy to fall afoul of, and I imagine that’s even truer for a pretty young woman like Kada living in today’s social media-saturated world!) and she might’ve met up with that person at the Arboretum to try to persuade them to leave her alone, with fatal consequences.

I wonder why she didn’t do esthetician work. I just paid an obscene amount of money for a facial, I’m talking hundreds. She had options. Im stuck on why she was working overnights in what I personally feel is the hardest most underpaid job on the planet.
She was gorgeous she could be a server, bartender, bottle service girl, waitress, esthetician, she had options. Why do the hardest thing ever, for minimal pay, when you have other options and her major was communications nothing health related, so it’s not like it was for experience?
Tossing this out there. I know a lot of people who worked the graveyard shift in the city morgue when they were students. Why? Because they could study since it was often very slow, but someone had to be there. So maybe if Kada worked on her entrepreneurial businesses during the day, yet still needed money, she might choose something like the overnight shift at an assisted living home because it would likely be slow. Time for her to edit videos, create designs, work on on other things in between tasks. Daytime assisted living home would be far busier. As one possibility.

Snipped by me - I also looked over the PSU programs and did not find her name. And I agree that even the degree/field of study is not clear. Given that the LinkedIn profile seems outdated, maybe it really was just a class assignment a while back (as someone else suggested) and populated with info she ASPIRED to but hadn't actually completed at the time.

And IF she was a bit stalled in completing her degree, that could have made her more vulnerable financially or in terms of attaining her creative and professional dreams.

All residential homes on Belmar Terrace ...

I believe I'm able to briefly summarize something from this DM story: Kada's Mom told the reporter the harrassing calls were made through an app called TextNow, a free messaging service that allows users to communicate anonymously without revealing their real phone number.

Snipped: Philadelphia police, with the FBI's help, are pursuing leads and executing search warrants.

Read through the data TextNow collects from users -
https://www.textnow.com/legal/privacy#personal-information-we-collect

If a house on Belmar Terrace was searched last Thursday, then Awbury was seached on Friday - tonight, Homicide Detective are taking over the case.

Safe to say LE has a good idea what happened to Kada and who might be responsible. They just aren't sharing with the public

Noting something interesting. Just me seeing what I consider strange. The images of this street are old and Google doesn't even show the most recent ones.
This is what is CURRENTLY shown in Google Maps at a far end of the street. It is from 2012

Yet this is the most recent image and not being shown, you have to look for it. Note the left building is torn down (there were 4 and now there are 3) and the right building has boarded windows. This one is from 2018. Nothing newer.
