Her mom is posting about a community prayer night set for next Monday...it is so sickening that someone knows what happened to Kortne and can allow this heartbreak to continue.
Why can't they release the 911 calls? How far into the Casey/Caylee Anthony case did they release the calls? I remember hearing the grandmothers call to report Caylee missing pretty early on, no? I think I saw something about submitting a request for these? And why had Nancy Grace not jumped on this? Honestly, I don't know if it would help, but at least she has the resources to gain access and get people talking.

Funny you should say that. I had a conversation this past weekend with some people that share your opinion of Lebanon County.

If that were the case, she'd need more drugs eventually IMO There'd be sightings, etc. She doesn't have a car anymore, so how would she of left the area to become 'unaware' of herself missing? She didn't text/call anyone for a ride at 4a.m. IMO or we'd know about the last person (I would hope). Hard telling though :banghead:
I also do not think it was the same officer the 2nd time that night or it would of been simply stated. IMO JMO MOO

I'm not stating this is the case .. I'm just saying that at least once a day I run this thought thru my head .. It sure beats the *other* thoughts that go thru my head regarding this case.
She certainly could have hopped into another car and left the area and no one knows if she texted or called anyone for a ride at 4 am .. as far as we know .. phone records have not been released. For that matter .. she may have had a "go phone" as well as her "regular" phone. She may have left everything behind because she didn't "own" it .. maybe her car and phone were in her parents name. Maybe she thought her BF was getting locked up for the rest of his sentence for breaking probation and she was going to jail for supplying alochol to minors so screw it ..
Of course if she was on drugs such as Oxy .. she would need more .. trust me when I tell you .. a "dealer" would be more than happy to continue her habit until she was able to "support" him .. by selling them (drugs) or herself for him.
Do I *think* this is what has happened? No .. I really don't .. BUT .. is it a remote possibility? .. sure .. why not? There is no supposed crime scene (that has been confirmed), no POI(s) (that has been confirmed), the PD has not asked for the publics help in searching ... Not even a presser to assure the public that their children are safe!
What gave the neighbors reason to "believe* that she "walked away" and possibly encountered trouble? Did they see her outside after police left and all the stomping? Did they hear her say something to the effect "I just can't take it anymore, I'm leaving"? We don't know because NO ONE IS TALKING!!! :maddening:
I completely agree! I thought about all those things too and those are the answers I came up with! Just thinking out loudIt's very frustrating not knowing ANYTHING!!! Even a little clue at this point would mean A LOT!
So true about a public presser---why should other young females feel safe right now, I wouldn't??? That's why LE's silence is very disturbing.....to say the least (very least)!

I wonder what advice Kortne's family is getting via their lawyer/contact person. Do they know about Klaas Kids or TES? From what I see from her mother, they are not being told anything regarding the investigation, so it is not as though they seem to be working closely with LE to maintain this silence.
I haven't been part of WS long, but I have followed a few cases and actually went back and started reading other cases from thread one. One of the complaints that is almost universally voiced in all those cases is that LE isn't forthcoming enough with information. In my estimation, sometimes it's warranted. However, it's not unique to Kortne's case. Holly Bobo's case comes immediately to mind. Ultimately, especially in cases where there is little information being provided, the complaints turn into suspicion of coverups and involvement by LE. I would suspect such accusations turn out to be true .01% of the time.
Regarding the officer's name, I would want to know that information more to determine if LE negligently carried out their duties, not because I think they were involved in Kortne's disappearance.
My opinion also is no one is hiding that name. LE owes you, me, the public at large nothing in terms of information. It is an active investigation and they will release what they deem is appropriate when they deem it is appropriate. Their refusal to do so doesn't mean there is anything untoward in their actions. It only means I will continue beating my head against the computer wishing I had more information.
Regarding LE involvement in this case...I hope I'm not wrong but I just don't see it. A name not being disclosed doesn't equate to involvement. Just my opinion and I hope I am right because there is nothing scarier than those we trust with protecting our safety, violating that trust if I am wrong.

JMO - Lebanon county is as crooked as the day is long. Let's not forget about the unsolved murder of Peggy Reber.

Actually, her family had Kortne's phone before she was declared a missing person and they say they went through all of her calls & texts.
If she walked away, I'll eat my pointy black hat. <|;-)

It's difficult at this point to *not* think of some sort of LE involvement. The fact that they were so involved with Kortne makes the lack of communication from LE even more suspicious, IMO.
So frickin WEIRD.
