Are there any other links indicating this information? FOX, CNN, etc., etc.

bolded by me....It has been my opinion..that he killed her..because she refused to give/loan him money.....being that he was pleading with others that he was broke....not of the computer files...
I hope this is TRUE of the latest news...I was hoping the police would interrogate him more...and see thru his lies...and putting all the scene, evidence, together....and arriving at their conclusion...th real reason..
Perhaps Joran knew he could not re create the scene the way his confession said it went...These Peruvian police KNOW he was trying to get the lesser sentence...
I am waitng with the rest of you...to see how he will be charged..
I thought Aruba didn't notify the FBI until he was either already gone or out the door, so to speak. Either way, by that time, it was too late.
But I did just see this. Is this old information?
Police: Van Der Sloot knows location of Holloway's body
http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/06/10/peru.van.der.sloot.admission/index.html?hpt=T1
I think Mark Furhman gave the best information regarding the FBI and what they can and can't do. Heck, the FBI can a better statement of what they can and can't do.
I think people think the FBI are the local cops and just can arrest anyone. The FBI was in another country, they had no jurisdiction in and dealing with a foreigner of that country. Like they said, he is not a US citizen and it is not our country.
Lawyers are lawyers, most have never been in law enforcement.
I would love to see the lawyers sitting across from the FBI and I'll sit record it.
I think the point being made on GVS was that the FBI knew Joran traveled to other countries. The FBI knew Joran had just been given funds which would enable him to travel. The FBI had all they needed on May 10th to request Aruba detain him and they did not. (not my opinion just stating what I heard)
Anyway I'm sure I'll get set straight tomorrow because Geraldo investigates this on O'Reilly. LOL
The police said at the outset they thought the motive was robbery
because they know Flores won $5000 cash that night and had it on her
but the room search found her billfold empty.
How could he have been broke? Mrs Holloway had just given him
$10-$25,000 in Aruba?
The sociopath I was involved with had been babied and coddled for many years by his parents. I think that's where the sense of entitlement comes from. They can't understand why everyone doesn't give them everything, after all mommy and daddy do.
Seriously - I wish he'd just give the CORRECT information for once and then go off and disappear. He is an awful human being and a total waste of space and I (like a lot of you!) are sick and tired of his STUPID STORIES!!!
Very well said! With all the talk about the conditions there in Peru, it wouldn't surprise me if the next thing we hear is that some international organization (like Amnesty International) is getting involved.Venting now - thank you for reading.......Catching up - and I skip a lot of pages just getting to the latest, but now in MOHO - I really don't think at this point we will ever know what really happened to Natalie. Since she vanished I have voiced many times to my friends that I soooo hope her fate is finally known and she and her family can be at peace. Anger fuels my hope. It could have been me. It could have you. It could have been my/your daughter, sister. Sadly, at this point, I don't believe her true fate will ever be known. If the truth were ever told would we believe it coming from Joran? I don't think so....Will we know exactly the scenario that led to Stephany's demise? Forensics, testimony, surveillance will be our best bet determining the truth, not Joran.
So many posters stating that they hope the worst for Joran in prison. If my family were directly victimized, I would probably agree - no, I would agree. But standing at a distance, I agree with the posters that no matter what monstrous actions he acted on, he is still flesh and blood as we are. We demand that our prisons and jails treat the inmates as human beings. How many of us have known folks that have been jailed for DUI, drugs, domestic violence or whatever? Don't we still demand these people be treated as human beings? It's common knowledge that here in the US the prisons are the dumping ground for the mentally insane. Are Peru's prisons any different? Joran's fate is not in our hands. I do not wish Peru's prisons to be his hell...nor hell for any of the imprisoned there. Judgement for all will come later.
Sleuth on....
interesting...the last paragraph said that the house where JVS said NH's body was.... was not built at the time she went missing... then later admitted that he lied... well what if she is buried UNDER the foundation of that home... which is why "she would never be found"
Yupper, they wanted to wire some of the money so they could charge him with "wire fraud". They weren't going to charge him with the $10,000.00, initially, and that was one of the reason they sat back until they wired the money.
The Alabama Attorney General indicated that they didn't have enough evidence to move forward with the $10,000.00.
We have to take FBI out and put in US Attorney General.
It still talks about having 24 hours to file a complaint. (If I'm reading that correctly.)Joran Charged with Murder!
