I certainly hope the judge makes a part of the plea deal a stipulation or whatever that BK cannot profit during his incarceration from books, interviews, podcasts, whatever. I hope the judge says BK cannot discuss the crime or BK's "state of mind", even if he does not profit from the interviews or writings. or any such endeavor. You think? he gets to live a long life making friends in prison, getting visits from family.
What do the family members of those dead children get?
Right? Me too!Shocked. I figured he’d fight this to the bitter end.
This is exactly what I wanted to ask. I hope there are provisions that prevent his profit, interviews, and attention for the rest of his life.I certainly hope the judge makes a part of the plea deal a stipulation or whatever that BK cannot profit during his incarceration from books, interviews, podcasts, whatever. I hope the judge says BK cannot discuss the crime or BK's "state of mind", even if he does not profit from the interviews or writings. or any such endeavor.
Maybe there is a wild card involving HOW Dateline gained some of the information they disclosed and how that might have injured the case.Opinions.. why did the state offer him this?
Same thing she told him two years ago, no doubt. He played the long game. Sick sick sick creature. She told him, I can't do anything for you and he didn't want to die. IMO
MOO will be due to the witnesses (especially surviving roommates) and the ongoing cost of many years of appeals.Opinions.. why did the state offer him this?
I’m puzzled as to who/why this would be released. Puts her safety at risk.LE certainly know if this woman was the DD driver. Door Dash certainly knows, and that would have been likely one of the very first things LE learned after the murders. The camera at 1112 King Road, among others, that picked up BK's car circling the area of the home almost certainly also would have picked up the DD vehicle, and can likely validate or invalidate her claim of being there at the same time that he was. . This woman's initials match the MM (not Maddie Mogen) Door Dash, on one of the court docs, and she told of her husband being shot to death a few years earlier, which GH did verify. To what extent she may have actually seen BK that morning, I am uncertain, but I have no doubt that her claim of being the DD driver at King Rd are true. JMO
ETA...He is not the most dynamic of speakers, but Gray Hughes is an accepted source here, and he has been right on the money with most everything he has reported on this case. JMO
Yes. The end.Same thing she told him two years ago, no doubt. He played the long game. Sick sick sick creature.
I hope witnesses are breathing their first sighs of relief and the survivors, a reprieve. May social media attacks cease and real healing begin.
He's done enough damage.

He doesn’t care about the families’ agony or millions spent on investigations. Was AT acting as public defender or was she being paid by BK? If the latter, I hope she gets stiffed.OMG !!!!!
Millions of dollars wasted!!! He prolonged the families agony. Karma will not show him any mercy.
Moo
IMO this should not have been allowed without consulting the parents of those who were brutally murdered.I’m so very surprised by this news. I guess the chance of being put to death outweighs the excitement of reliving the experience while the world watches. And those latest reports about his witnesses not wanting to be there didn’t help. I hope it’s true.
...and the families of the victims a lot of additional trauma. No circus of a trial, no three or four decades of appeals, just lock him away and let him rot. Some closure at least. This is going to save the state a lot of money.
Maybe he was deadfast against ever pleading anything no less guilty unless the DP was off the table.Opinions.. why did the state offer him this?
