I think it would be less conspicuous on her nose. But alas, I'm too far away
Someone heard you @Lucy.DWhat I can't understand is that if the airport camera/telecommunications setup is used to contact people in the bush then why isn't someone there all day (and night)?
So I think it must be a camera and someone goes there each day to check the images.
But I also I don't think it takes two and sometimes 3 cars with police to check images.
There would be no localised images to see and I don't think it is a microwave or heat sensing device for peering into the bush.
If the police wont say, I would love a reporter to find out what it is.
(Are you there Jonica?)
Police raided a Myrtleford home in search of Dezi. One man taken away in handcuffs.

Yes I noticed that. Strange they would use the old photo yesterday. I saw a few media reports over the past years of various charges.Similar article, same car photo with a different date May 26 2025

An Albury man arrested with help from the police air wing after a Myrtleford car crash is facing commercial drug trafficking and firearms-related charges, with two guns allegedly found in a suspected stolen car.
Benjamin Kramer was taken into custody on Friday, May 23, two hours after allegedly fleeing a crashed white Holden on Prince Street.
Do you think that is definite then, a microwave booster is what is at the airfield?Someone heard you @Lucy.D
High-tech surveillance unit that has been deployed in Dezi search

One of their main tools is a long-range system that combines a high-resolution telescopic camera with a microwave booster.
Several of these units have been set up across the region, using powerful zoom lenses to capture detailed images in the search..
One has been mounted on a hilltop overlooking Freeman’s Porepunkah farm, the site of the deadly ambush before he vanished into the bush.
That's offensive to cows.If they put a cowcam or two on, let's hope they don't choose the very cow that Dezi is disguised as!![]()
It's hard to say. By 'microwave booster' do they mean communication booster or microwave radar / life-detection device? I wish they would be more specific.Do you think that is definite then, a microwave booster is what is at the airfield?
But I thought microwave cameras cannot see through dense foliage like a bush.
A microwave imaging camera uses microwave radiation to capture images, often penetrating materials like fog, fabric, or even walls to see internal structures.
If it's sending out microwaves on the trailer at the airfield, a sov cit like Dezi would probably believe any radiation would be harmful to humans and he would not be able to help himself but to come out from his hiding place to argue with police in no uncertain terms they are causing themselves harm when they are in the shed next to the camera for long periods, not to mention the harm they are also causing to him by pointing several cameras in his direction.
Is that how they might catch him?

I'm not fully seeing it? Like maybe, but old film cameras made things look weird anyway. ?

It does look a bit weird but to me it just looks like he's holding the snake very tightly, as you would, and so his hand is flexing and the metacarpals are showing, plus the hypothenar eminence / muscles inside that mound.
But I might be missing the point.
It's an interesting concept and I think the reason why they kept their options open about charging family members in the future, which was probably due to withholding info, was to put a bit of pressure on. Personally I think Dezi is in the mountain with no communications.I suppose it would be illegal to put Mali and sons in jail? (Gently, of course) Just thinking that it may coax our hero out to rescue them. Haven't we seen this done in Westerns?
