Does anyone have a link-- that still works -- to JACK's 12 page motion to fire Nurmi? She listed in it the "leads" she thought Nurmi had blown off. Want to see what if anything she said then about TA's hard drive.

It was either on this thread or the Sidebar just the other day.I just read it this weekend I'm sure.

Travis was extremely angry over whatever was on the CDs Arias brought to his house on the day she murdered him. They had quite a scene.

Well, that was just Jodi's version. Maybe she did this earlier and their text conversation where he told her she had betrayed him was about her doing this to him. To me all of this still goes to premeditation on her part. It is like she set him up for his murder months before. Ultimate betrayal and slaughter.

So this motion isn't just a prosecutorial misconduct one, or a motion to drop the death penalty. It's a motion to have all charges against Jodi dropped. If that happened she's a free woman.

And on to her next victims. Plural. Is that justice in our country?

I believe she was trying to do something weird to his computer that day, just based on the stories she's told. Seems her initial interrogation centered around accounting for whatever they might find on Travis' computer. Remember the stories about bugs chewing the screen and computer viruses (there were also no viruses on his computer, unusual for someone who'd accessed 🤬🤬🤬🤬 over 1,000 times).

But I'm not sure whatever she did or was trying to do has anything to do with this. That's one thing I think we'll never know.

What do you mean by "something weird"?

An experienced, skilled forensic computer investigator can tell you EVERYTHING that went on that day on the computer, from the time it was first accessed to the time it was shut down and each and every file that was added, deleted, accessed, or written. Especially in this type of a situation where the user was dead and gone and no one else used it after that.

IIRC, he wasn't angry about what was on them, but that according to the evil especially vicious cold blooded murderer, he couldn't get them to work and got angry.

Well, I don't know since nothing was ever found so whatever Jodi was trying to do was unsuccessful and her early attempts to explain away whatever it was were pointless. That's why I say we'll never know what she was trying to do.

Travis' s computer was accessed shortly before his murder and Juan made the very vague and obvious insinuation that ANYONE could have done this while she was there.

The computer virus lie could also have been an attempt to explain away any weird activity they might find in relation to her hackings. Either way, many of us have long held the belief that she was trying to do something to his computer on that day. But there's no evidence of it so no use worrying about it. I also don't think it had anything to do with planting 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on his computer.

Just the sheer amount of work involved in deleting or overwriting thousands of files seems to outweigh any benefit it would have. It's irrational.
As if they would not think the DT would want access to Travis' computer.

Even if it were "accidental"; it still does not makes sense!

There better be media allowed for this testimony, because Nurmi and Co. just opened a huge can of worms with this motion.

She had no choice, this delay is NOT her fault. There is no court on Fridays. Today and tomorrow there's no court because of Veteran's Day- Federal holiday.

@_DelReyCNN: My heart is heavy for Travis' family!!! This damn judge needs to get this over with and stop all the bull s***! #DoYourJob

The detective did not do this. She slaughtered him and she is guilty. Period. Lots of men look at 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and I don't like it but this is a smear tactic and Det Flores would never do this because he is Mormon. That's just the way Jodi would spin it!

If iirc from the Mark Hacking case, to LDS murder is an unpardonable sin, because there's no remedy for it. Flores destroying evidence that might help the state "murder" JA would have eternal consequences for him. It didn't happen.

Ok, long-time lurker and I just can't stand it... Remember when Nurmi was crossing Flores, that whole bit about a 12-year old and a video... wonder if he is setting up something with this "new" evidence?
I feel so sorry for the Alexanders. My step daughter (I called her my heart daughter) was murdered 10 years ago this month. It was torture to wait for 2 1/2 years for the monster to go to trial. I can't imagine 6 1/2 years. I don't believe JA's "expert" - what like the rest of her hired crowd? How much integrity did they have... pfft.

Yes! Thank you. Just skimmed it. No direct mention there. Very very indirectly- a stretch- in statement that Flores had perjured himself, but think that alludes to gunshot testimony.

Now in hunt of her to to-do list when pro per.
It did because in the same sentence she alludes to Kevin Horn perjuring himself to "change his testimony from his real findings to fit the theory the state wished to get before the jury".
