Maybe, we can take away the "I am an artist" mitigating factor now. ;-) She is broken. (Where is my eye rolling guy when I need it?)

I still think the witness from CA is Mr. Vernon Parker. He was TA's and Deanna Reeves' Mormon bishop in Riverside.
Wonder what he'd have to say for the DT, and that would def be a secret witness.

Re the wrist brace- good one! Oh the drama, upping the ante. A shame it was wasted.

I want to know if it will be there next Wednesday.

Jodi Arias is the nightmare that never ends.

Why she has been afforded more rights than anyone else who has been convicted of Murder One who has faced the death penalty, I truly have no clue. I know women are treated far differently in the system but even that doesn't begin to explain what has happened. Juan sent Wendy Andriano to death row and I bet none of these DT bully tactics were pulled in her case. I also suspect that the presiding Judge over that case knew how to control his/her courtroom as well. Something JSS knows nothing about imo.

I have watched countless DP trials.......seen countless DP Judges/Prosecutors and defense attorneys, and never in my 67 years of life have I ever seen one that can even begin to touch this one.

It is the first time I have ever seen a DT and the defendant take control of the case and get a Judge to go along with all the bizarre behavior that seems to go on and on and on and on.......and not only does it continue .........the craziness gets even worse.

Who in the heck holds the justice system hostage? That is what has happened in this case. The DT makes extreme demands and the Judge caves each and every time. And now it will be notated in JSS's history that she was rebuked by the court for giving into the hostage demands of JA and DT. Only JA and the DT think they are deserving of all the coddling and special treatment they have been given throughout.

This case smells. So much of it hidden in darkness. Why? When in other DP cases the media was allowed to get daily transcripts of the sidebars? But not this one..........oh no .........not this one. This defendant has been given preferential treatment from the very beginning and it still continues. KN pouts like an oversized child and he gets his way.

I really had hope when I first read the tweets on what JSS said to KN. I really thought THIS TIME she is going to take back her courtroom and control it with an iron fist as many DP Judges do. BUT NOPE......in the end KN got his way for the gazillionth time.

And she hasn't only held the court system hostage by the foolish demands she has also held Travis' family hostage too for over 6 years. She will not let them grieve the loss of their brother. She is too busy prolonging their agony and suffering.

To know they had to come all that way for nothing is heartbreaking and what is even more heartbreaking is JA and KN love twisting the knife into their hearts even deeper. JA and the DT will not release these people from the demonic hellish life they have had to live for so long now.

It is the most sick vile and twisted case I have ever seen. It truly is seeing a psychopath in action and how she uses others who are so willing as pawns to do her evil work.. even now...........even now.. she hurts others so deeply and she probably laughs that demonic laugh of hers when she goes back to her jailc ell and pats herself on the back "Job well done Jodi'.

Who hasn't gotten a fair trial in the second sentencing phase is the State of Arizona and Travis Alexander. JA has continuously been protected by secrecy which are sealed up tighter than Ft. Knox and Travis has been afforded no privacy at all.:(

I am so angry, for several reasons, I want to get rid of some of these negative feelings. Usually when I feel like this I will go walking, but about 6 weeks ago I fell while walking and tore the ligaments in my right ankle and tore up my left knee pretty bad, so walking is out for a few more weeks. I need to focus on something other than this awful mess this trial is in and has been for some time. During the last trial I received a beautiful thank you card. What really impressed me was not receiving the thank you card; we all saw right from the very beginning what class and dignity Travis’ family has. What impressed me was the words in the card were handwritten. Travis and his siblings had manners. I won’t write what’s on my mind, I know I would get set on vacation :/ This “fair trial” BS has been going on since the first trial. I just don’t feel like dealing with it right now. I am thinking of Travis’ family. So if anyone has the “snail mail” address for Travis’ family, not the PO one. I cannot believe I’ve lost that card :( Please give it me, thanks 

<modsnip> It was allowed to be published on this site last year, but not sure if we are allowed to do now. And yes, they do very personal thank you notes....

At this point I think a judge into so much secrecy without declared foundation is a judge running scared.

Hi Rose :loveyou:. For over two years now, and against my better judgment and great restraint , I have refused to even entertain the idea that Judge Stephens might give her LWP.

But after the many, many weak justifications I afforded Judge Stephens during the guilt phase of the trial, coupled with this latest legal debacle and the obvious part the Judge has played in it, I have no choice but to reach the obvious conclusion that there is a persistent pattern on the part of JSS to be inexplicably weak with the DT. So yeah, imo there is real possibility she could give LWP. Which is so very disappointing for me.

At this rate, the way things are going I am starting to think JSS might just give her time served and probation 😱

Is this the very same hand with the crooked finger of death?

It is. It must be devastating for her since she needs two hands. No more kitty squeals for a while.

Thank you! I wondered if that was him--or possibly Dan Freeman, since the photos of the Grand Canyon trip were being viewed by the defense.

Hi Kidz! Just jumping back in here from a long recess. I said during the trial that I thought Judge Sherry Stephens was just awful. I took some guff for that, but I'll say it again. This woman needs to be off the bench, and some judge who can control the courtroom needs to be on in her stead. Judge Stephens is solely responsible for wasting hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars with, well, silliness. This latest stunt of closing the courtroom was so blatantly unconstitutional that I'm surprised it took the Court of Appeals more than 10 minutes to issue their stay.

So, Nurmi trumped the State's Victimes Rights? The DT takes precedence?
The part that pissed me off the most today, was when JSS called on Nurmi, and the first sentence out his mouth was so rude towards Juan.

We need a transcript for today's hearing ...

I believe that trials are to be public that does not include the right to broadcast on tv IMO. They should be all open and free to attend. They should be able to come in and to video for later and such but I don't think there is a right to live streaming.

Yeah but, but…. I don't think that is what Mollyandme was talking about. I think she was referring to the Honorable Judge Sherry Stevens conducting a locked, private, secret and sealed courtroom where she kicked out the media, public and anyone else that wasn't council, jury, defendant and victim's family. She threw the First Amendment out the window, and went back to Star Chamber days. So, not only has she sealed all sidebars and almost all hearings, she blacked out the courtroom and had a secret trial last Thursday and part of Monday, that is until the Court of Appeals appealed her. She is a loose cannon now in a lot of eyes. I think that was what Mollyandme was referring to. JSS is not just trying to prevent an appeal, she is creating appeals. IMO
