This may make me seem like a horrible person, but I reveled in NG finally telling RC that she knew he was lying to her and she would find why.

Of course, I also wanted to wipe that smirk, albeit somewhat discreet, off his face that followed her statement.

I think all of this divorce stuff is in the name of saving RC's behind. When RC, TN thought they could save them all, they stood by MC side. Now that people are really questioning RC and his "stand by your [wo]man" attitude, they're ready to fee her to wolves.

We'll probably hear later, "That's what Haleigh would have wanted." :shakehead:

If you believe Ron is standing in the way of that because of his answers on her show, that does not make you a less than honorable person. It makes you very human to react to something you view as wrong.

We tend to assume that these people (victims, players, relatives) are in it for the fame for themselves. If we are aware the exposure is good (and necessary) to find their loved ones. Whose to say they are not being advised by professionals to do the same.

Keep her in the press. Do what ever it takes. Accept all interviews. I think, I'd advise my clients that if I was ever in that position.

I expect to hear from some media outlet that the courts are going to take a look at his living arrangement. As has been done publicly many times....this his reason for dumping MC at least in the media.

It wasn't but a few weeks ago, they were seem hamming it up on TV. He looked totally smitten with Misty. We were told they were going to meet up with each other for a holiday. Of course that was TN and I should know better than to believe her, since she spins whatever is best for RC and how he looks to the public.

He had a reason for doing this and it wasn't because of Haleigh, IMO. He is self-serving. He wants to gain more favor from the public eye.

Hi Miss Patti. . I think I knew what you meant, I was just throwing out an alternative reasons that Ron may be keeping in the public eye, than his own fame.

I do get the sense there is more behind this. I do not however believe it is self serving. I think it is planned. I also think Nancy Grace is completely in on it. I felt that much of that was staged. IMO Ron married Misty to keep from being charged with having sex with a minor. By getting legal permission to marry her from her family, it also declared her to be an adult. This was all a ploy to cover his backside because Misty was 16 when she started living with him. Who remembers when her birthday is? Isn't it sometime in the fall?

Yes she'll be 18 on the 9th. I thought it was for custody and CYA purposes when RC married MC, and all over again when he divorces her. In both cases, it appears to me motivated by same reason. She was a liability to him re custody as a teenaged live-in, and as attention zoomed in on MC w time it was clear she'd become a liability living in the home w Junior. JMO

Has anyone else noted the overall change in Misty's "look"? Someone has been working with her on her general appearance too. Her personal grooming has changed. the first we saw of her was in camo jacket and jeans, sporting a casual cigarette and hair unkempt.

Now she' s in slacks and blouses and actually looks more like a sweet little 17 yr old guaranteed to garner more sympathy than the "trailer trash" style she sported before the marriage.
