Has there ever been another case as wild as this one?

What insurance company pays out on a suicide though?

Super confused by what insurance they were planning to defraud? Medical insurance because he wasn’t really shot?
Life insurance I assume. Alex was supposed to die.

I like this part of the SLED statement

"Additional charges in the case are expected and will be announced at the appropriate time."

That’s precisely why it was supposed to look like a murder. Probably a double indemnity clause or something.

I’m taking it as Alex was planning to die (be shot by CS), and the insurance money from his death would go to his remaining son. And all of this would stop with his death (at least in AM’s mind).

Looks like from the warrants Alex confessed yesterday. Wow. The plan was for Curtis to actually kill Alex for a life insurance policy for Alex’s son. 10 million.

So in the end was just random luck that he survived the head shot? This is wild
Sad and crazy. JMO.

I don't think it was supposed to look like a suicide. It was supposed to look like murder, but the plan was basically assisted suicide requested by Alex.

They interviewed Alex yesterday and got the confession so I’m very surprised he wasn’t arrested too. Hmm. I suspect that’ll be coming shortly.

Now I can’t wait to see how the murders tie into this.

OK, this solidifies it in my mind. If Alex wanted to die, I am now 99.9% certain he is the person who committed the double homicide.

But, like, what kind of charge is “assisted suicide”???? Isn’t that usually just called attempted murder?

I think it's because AM asked him to do it.

Wild indeed.

I thought he was going to pay back the embezzled money (per his lawyer).
Guess he had other plans.

Why would he want to commit suicide. Is it because he was worried about spending the remainder of his life in prison for murdering his wife and son?

Wonder when the next shoe drops?

This guy has really messed up his own life. What a disaster.

I still don’t think he committed it, but I absolutely believe he’s the mastermind. He’s the guy everyone else is going to flip on.
