Several' bodies found at Mandan, North Dakota business, 1 April 2019 *Arrest*

Heartbreaking. I don't know these gals but share mutual friends. The family is devastated. Everyone I have spoken to speaks very highly of and adored the Cobbs. North Dakota couple killed, daughters want justice

I'm a little angry our local news affiliate opted to do an on camera interview with two of the couple's four kids so soon after their learning of the murders. It felt very "Reporter shoving microphone in shell shocked victim face."

The Contradictions

The suspect or suspects remain at large but the public is safe.

“It’s quite a large crime scene, so it’s not something that’s going to be easy for us to get in and do quickly,” Police Chief Jason Ziegler tells AP but the business is back to being open today.

The authorities are asking for other businesses in the area to hand over surveillance footage relevant to the killings but we have no idea what is actually relevant.

LE also said the crime was specific to the “victims.” Then also said it was specific to the “business.” Something specific to a victim could mean divorce/enraged lover. Something specific to the business could mean angry client/investor.

The killer waiting for the main target/targets to show up, inside the building from the beginning, is looking good, and makes me wonder who was the main target ? My instincts say the owner was the last arrival, and probably the main target, and then the killer left. There has to be a large section of that property that is not seen on any CCTV for this to have happened, without the victim's vehicles or the killer's vehicle being caught on CCTV coming or going. That 7am arriving civilian truck may have been a victim or not ? Possibly an arriving employee who then discovered the crime ? Was the killer brazen enough to leave at 7:04am in a Company truck ? I don't think so. I am beginning to think the victims were all dead and the killer/killers gone before 7am without being caught on an outside CCTV camera.....Was this an organized "hit" over revenge/forbidden knowledge ? ..........moo

Me too. Same methodical, isolated circumstances.

It’s pretty difficult to kill every single person in a large building unless they are clustered together and everyone is sprayed with gunfire. Yet LE said it was a “large” area.

Besides Missy Bevers, my mind wanders to the unsolved Florence, Montana beauty shop murders and Great Bend, Kansas Dolly Madison murders. They also were stealth-like and done with knives.

I so wish LE would say if it was gunfire or not!

Any chance the murders took place in the truck and the victim's bodies staged in the workplace afterward?

MANDAN, N.D. - An employee of RJR told KFYR-TV Wednesday morning they have no comment at this time, but are working with a private investigator and will be releasing a statement sometime in the coming days regarding the murders.

Mandan PD PIO Lori Flaten says autopsies are still being conducted by the medical examiners office.

This is one of the most bizarre cases I’ve seen, atleast in recent memory.

We don’t know how the victims died.

We don’t know when they died.

We don’t know anything about motive, much less a suspect.

People are returning to work, and there may be a killer on the loose.

And no one is saying anything.

Weird as all hell.

Adam F.'s wife is not mentioned in the article. The owner's wife is. The owner was Robert Fakler.

"Fakler’s wife and company co-owner Jackie Fakler returned to work Wednesday as a police officer monitored the parking lot. She and other workers declined comment, saying they were dealing with a difficult time."

I am reminded of the Rhoden family of 8 killed. There were drug discussions and cartel discussions. It took a long time but when the arrest happened it turned out this was a father of a young child and a desire for revenge.
If memory serves, it seems the LEO were looking at them from very early on.

I think the close to the vest stance of the LEO in this case is not uncommon. I bet they have a pretty good idea of who and why. We just aren't privy to their thinking yet.
