Thank you. This helped me remember how she tried to make the allegations. I kind of remember both those futile attempts now.

I think that was when she was trying to load something on Travis''s computer and he caught her. Then flipped her over the desk and forced himself upon her. She said she always used sex to calm him down.

Remember she said she brought a cd of photos (her reason for a visit. Jodi always had a reason for a visit) and they wouldn't load and he called her stupid? and then throw the cd and it broke. I think Jodi brought an external drive and that was what she was trying to load off of.

"Woman convicted of murder in death of Davontae Williams to be only the 15th woman in the US executed since 1976.

...Dixie Bersano, one of the trial prosecutors, said in a statement: “This nine-year-old child suffered a horrific death at the hands of Lisa Ann Coleman. Davontae died of malnutrition, a slow and cruel process. There was not an inch on his body that had not been bruised or scarred or injured. The jury assessed the appropriate punishment.”

Coleman will be the third American woman given a lethal injection since September 2010, when Virginia caused an outcry by putting Teresa Lewis to death for hiring hitmen to kill her husband and stepson for an insurance payout. Lewis was only narrowly above the intellectual disability threshold, while the two gunmen were given life sentences. Since then, 159 men have been executed..."

Texas is scheduled to execute Lisa Ann Coleman, 38, on Wednesday for the 2004 murder of her girlfriend’s 9-year-old son, Davontae Williams.

Don't forget the fake letters she tried to get her mother to sell to the National Enquirer (after she was unsuccessful at getting them admitted into evidence during her first turn at representing herself.)

Yes. Really.

I am sure they can use all donations, including mine which happen yearly rather than just a one-time thing when I am trying to prove something that is in reality just another big fat lie.

They have PR people. I want to hear what they have to say about this.

ETA: Since my opinion on this is frowned upon I thought I should add this.

St. Judes is a highly respected organization. Its founder, Danny Thomas, continues to be highly respected as is his daughter Marlo. This organization and the people behind it have always done good things and have never ever been named or even hinted at in any way even remotely scandalous. Their donations come from citizens worldwide. What I feel about a killer donating to them in an effort to save her own skin is what I feel--sorry if it offends. However, I do believe they should return the donation with a statement of why they need to do so. It is best to just stay clear of all possible scandal or at best, raised eyebrows.

I suppose it is possible I am the the only person in the entire world who feels this way. But, I doubt.

I understand. I feel the same way. ESPECIALLY since she had the audacity to donate in the name of the man she was convicted of murdering.
It's like blood money. And she can keep it.

Just watched the documentary "Dear Zachary." The killer in it and the murder she committed (of Andrew Bagby) are eerily similar to CMJA and her slaughter of Travis.

What comes after the murder is your worst nightmare of what would have happened if CMJA had been pregnant with Travis' baby.

Warning......This story is completely heartbreaking. I didn't know the end of it or I might not have watched the whole thing. The similarities to CMJA sucked me in. Though this is completely and absolutely not like me....I'm still crying.

Had to look it up:

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father

"is a 2008 American documentary film conceived and created by Kurt Kuenne.

Kuenne's close friend Andrew Bagby was allegedly murdered by Shirley Jane Turner after Bagby ended their tumultuous relationship. Shortly after she was arrested, she announced she was pregnant with Bagby's child, a boy she named Zachary....

In jail, Turner wrote to a judge and, contrary to normal legal procedure, received advice on how to appeal her arrest and imprisonment. Turner was later released by a Newfoundland judge, Gale Welsh, who — despite what the film presents as ample evidence that Turner was psychologically disturbed — felt she did not pose a threat to society in general....

Turner was therefore released on bail and successfully sued for joint custody of Zachary with the Bagbys, although their arrangement was tenuous. The arrangement ended in tragedy when, on August 18, 2003, Turner jumped into the Atlantic Ocean with thirteen-month-old Zachary in a murder-suicide...."

Gonna add to that ".........name of the man she was convicted of murdering, and alleged him of being a pedophile."

Isn't that kind of twisted sick? CMJA says TA is a pedophile but donates to a children's hospital in the alleged pedophile's name?

"Something ain't right with that girl."

I think JA also had a knack at blaming Travis for things she probably did herself. If I recall, she made claims about what may have been an honest fun liking of Spiderman undies and she herself may have wanted to wear them or obtain them. That could have started as just an honest and funny thing they shared and then she blows it completely out of proportion and blames it solely on him.

There were quite a few times during the trial that I kept thinking...No way JA, that is you that probably did that or liked that, and now you are solely blaming TA for that.

So glad that the state of Texas does not mess around. I remember reading about this horrid person.

PR people? Is that we have come to? We must be politically correct and get PR people on top of every issue? Krkrjx, I am NOT the enemy here. I am totally aligned with your anger that JA or one her buddies would attempt this but the courts are allowing her to do a lot of things I disagree with. The laws should be changed.

But when you said you won't donate to St Jude's again unless they give the money back, I am sorry, I do not think we should make decisions about supporting a great organization based upon what a psychopath does. EVERYONE knows Jodi is a liar, a killer, a deceiver, a psychopath. The money didn't come from JA as I understood it. It came from a man who supports JA and he placed it in honor of Travis. The man, Ben I think his name is, is a sick misguided person, aligned with a killer but your post, IMO, was making St Jude's look bad. I can't do that. JMOO.

Curious, I *think* krkrjx was trying to say that St. Jude's should address the situation (which has probably taken the path towards MSM exposure) because it effects the integrity of their organization, EVEN THOUGH, no one at St. Jude's donation center had a clue that the donation had nefarious intent. Pre-strike "Damage control".

Can you imagine if that "receipt" is used at the trial as "evidence"? Anyone watching the trial and not knowing the under handed way this donation was given would be demanding a boycott of St. Jude's. We saw what "mob mentality" did to some of the defense witnesses the first go round.

I'd hate to see St. Jude's get blasted by MSM, or others. We know the backstory, so to speak, but others out there, including MSM, are usually a day late and a dollar short when it comes to the facts and what WSers already know.

My personal opinion? St. Jude's should return the donation with a letter, cover their bases, and avoid any bologna that MIGHT come up. They need to avoid this situation at all costs. They do so many awesome things for children and I'd hate to see them drug through the mud.

Yes, you make perfect sense. Thanks.

Someone on twitter posted that one solution would be for St.Jude to contact the donor and tell him they would be glad to keep the money in the donor's name, without the mention of TA and the donor's association with JA. That would work, and if the donor says no? Then we'd know what it was all about, if we don't already know.

I just visited the States vs JA page and someone posted that the page on HER site for the auction of her glasses is no longer there. I find that interesting.
