Unless he has some sort of notes he's referred to since the initial interview, I wonder if the police convinced him he was initially wrong about the time? If so, a good defense atty would have a field day with the discrepancy.

Good point!

Hey, I just like how he goes from being a groundskeeper to a turf technician!

Sounds to me like spin.

I'm really upset. I don't think LE have a darn thing, and they're just fishing.

@Ebean--

I hope that's not true. They would have to have sufficient evidence to call a Grand Jury, wouldn't they? I think that they have held much of their case close to the chest on purpose and my hope is that they have a solid case and that they are just trying to cross i's and dot t's.

I thought the groundskeepers timeline was much ado about nothing from the beginning, since there were so many variables that would have allowed him to not see the truck on the access road. JMO.

The police need it to be TH, because if it isn't, they've spent 2 months (and a whole lot of the taxpayers money) barking up the wrong tree.

At one point I was convinced that TH had "stolen" Kyron (not physically harmed, but stolen). Now, I think I'm climbing back on the fence - I suspect she was up to SOMETHING that morning, but I'm starting to wonder if it had anything to do with Kyron.

Thinking Thinking...questioning things. I'm pondering stranger abduction VS known abductor? I've heard of stranger abductions from bus stops but can't recall a stranger abduction from a school itself. Walking home yes, bus stops yes but the school itself??? I can't recall except maybe custody disputes. It just seems way too risky for a stranger. Why would a stranger risk ALL the possible ways of being detected. Stranger abduction to me does not compute yet.

The children outside without chaperon don't seem to ding me much because there's safety in numbers. If Kyron was taken from a group of children outside, I'm sure we'd have heard that story. Nada

If it were stranger I'd think he'd be taken against his will or been found at the school. It just seems like he went missing without a ruckus or noticeable circumstances.

Now I don't know where this belongs sorry...

BBM--I have thought the same thing--but I can't get past 3 things here.

1) The alleged MFH plot against KH--IF its true, it says so much to me about what she is capable of and where her mind is/was.
2) That DS was so conveniently unaccounted for at basically the same time TH was that day.
3) The story TH gave about riding her daughter around for 1 1/2 on back roads to soothe an earache---as a parent I just think this is complete BS.

Actually in some cases, I think they call a GJ as a fact-finding thing - I seem to remember that they had at least one and I think several in the Ramsey case, and nothing ever came of that.

And personally, I suspect that the white truck seen on the access road may well have been the turf tech's, when he parked to close the gate. Looking at the photos from the LE site, that access road is somewhat higher than the actual paved road, but is well below the level of the school grounds. Depending on where they were located, someone looking that way might have seen only the upper part of the truck (and someone in or beside it), and not been able to see the wheels (or the trailer and equipment behind it).

Huh, since he wasn't on the road during the time they're interested in, I guess he really wouldn't have seen anything even if Terri's truck had been there. Too bad, he could have been an ideal witness, if only he'd have driven past at the right time.

There are a lot of things she COULD have been doing that she wouldn't want known - anything from an affair to trying to hire a hit man to take out Kaine. Although I'm not so sure I believe the MFH deal, either. Or, she could have just been out driving around to clear her own head and/or kill time before going to the gym. I like to drive - I can picture ME doing that.

It has also occurred to me that someone else could have "stolen" Kyron and set TH up to take the blame.

snip
Investigators are still trying to identify that person in the Hormans’ truck and say that could be key information into Kyron’s disappearance.

It sound from this statement they are covince some one else was is the truck.

If that true do they really think that person is coming forward?? It sound like good old police work is going be needed for this one....

Who changed his title? Maybe the press messed it up?

Different schools can have different starting times. Some elementaries start at 9:00, some at 8:45, and some at 8:00. Depends some on the bus schedules. They try to arrange the schedules so they can "share" with the middle schools to save money. I believe Skyline starts class at 8:45, so that would be the second and final bell.
I'm beginning to think the usual schedule doesn't apply to June 4th. It was the tail end of the school year, and typically much less structure the last couple weeks, more fun activities going on. On June 4th, SF open to visitors, then 9-10am students to tour other's projects, later talent show. I'm guessing on a Fri. this late in the year, there wasn't a lot of classwork going on. IF this had happened earlier in the school year I'd put more stock in bells and structure, but it's jmo they were having a well deserved "fun" day. My point is I don't think anybody was being real strict about having students in homeroom before the bell, or making sure they stayed in an assigned group. This is my inference from assuming no attendance taken until 10am, and no sign in sheet. Also, if they were, then Kyron would've been noticed to be missing, I would hope? That poor little fella, I sure hope there is a way for him to come home safe.

If the GK left 8:45-9:00, at least he is not saying he saw a little boy wandering around away from the school. Or any child alone. Or anything.
I think his comment about hoping the kids were not coming to play soccer may have been that on some mornings there was a PE class on the field, probably why he was finishing mowing about the same time the school day started. jmo

It is curious... Originally the GK said that he finished mowing at 8:3 0 a.m. Some posters were saying that he could not have seen TH's truck, because he would have left too early. Now, he has stated that he may well have left Skyline as late as 9 00 a.m. And so... he still would not have seen TH's truck .. Huh ?:waitasec: Wow....

Yep, because he wasn't sitting on the road from 745am-9am, he was mowing the soccer field. He would have seen/passed/been blocked by her truck at 745 (before she got there) when he entered, or 900 (after she left) when he left.

I think it's both. I think they DO have quite a bit of evidence already but need more and the GJ testimony is helping to add to it. I don't think they are hanging their hat on just one person's testimony. IF this goes to trial, it'll be the sum of many things that will (hopefully) convict the person or persons responsible for little Kyrons disappearance.

I cannot for the life of me understand why, if this was a carefully planned event, that TH would park on that access road knowing that a groundskeeper was there. He could have spotted her at any time. Such a vital part of the plan : sneaking Kyron out and into the truck... It could have imploded at any second... Not believable, IMO

But,he could still have seen the truck at any time is my point. He could have noticed her,and the truck. After all,he was cutting the grass, not doing open heart surgery...

He could have, but he didn't. There's also a steep slope with long grass - it's not flat and open. Especially if she was in the position closer to the main road, it's a pretty poor vantage point.
