Thailand - FOUND ALIVE - 12 Boys And Coach Rescued from Cave, 23 June 2018 #6

I did two laps in the pool pretending I was in the Olympics. I thought I was going to die. Literally. lol.
I need to learn from you! I’m inspired to be more active.

Start slow maybe treading or a side stoke. Build your time but take it slow. Hardest for me is the butterfly stroke. I struggled back in my teens when I was a life guard. Now I can barely do 2 laps butterfly. Yet who cares LOL. Find the best stroke your comfortable with and build from there. I would think the side stroke. I just like to challenge myself at times. Which is a scream!

Oh no! This is terrible!
Saddened for Aussie doctor Richard Harris - a hero in the Thai cave rescue - whose father died last night soon after the last 4 boys and coach were pulled out @abcnews

Oh Lordy. ughhh -- have to go see what happened. I hope he was aware of what an incredible feat his hero son had accomplished. :(

Last post O/T but if anyone is looking for exercise cardio or joint pain. Swimming is your best friend. I am tired as I said earlier after getting home as I was kayaking with my Sister on the river. She is 71. The guys were playing on the gun range. So much family time I could not be here.

Oh Bless their dear little hearts.
Perhaps that monk monastery is a good idea for them all for a while (half kidding/half not.) ...no press allowed.
But they'll need lots of time with their families first, too.
I hope they will all heal quickly.
My little Oinkies ❤️

I really do think that both of those things will help their mental state to heal and process what they’ve been through.

My sister just told me that Dwayne Johnson already accepted to play the role of the coach.

After I flipped out and said that was totally lame she told me she was joking.

I must be really happy today - just realized I had "Liked" this post, even though I don't know who Dwayne Johnson is.
Guess I liked it 'cuz Creepy❤︎ wrote it. :)

Us in the Western Hemisphere should embrace some of there spiritual followings. Calming and getting it touch with your inner self. Which I truly believe with the help of their coach sustain them. We have a friend who is a Professor at University of Waterloo here in Ont. Who converted to Buddhism. I am considering because I refuse every day drugs for anxiety and extreme panic disorder. Much to learn from this culture. They are young yet I feel these young men will do a bit better than those from other cultures. IMO

Great little video of them all cheering after the final SEALS walked out of the cave.

The last rescuers emerge from a Thai cave after their successful mission to save 12 boys and their football coach. bit.ly/2L5h07O

I wonder how many days it is going to take for my eyes to stop welling up.
I loved what he said in the beginning about power and love, and this being a lesson for the world to love one another.

Night all. Stay safe. I am so elated these young men and Coach made it out alive. I cant say enough about the rescue. Again it was EPIC. I wish them god speed recovering anything this ails them. Night all again. I am so tired and have blisters on my hands. I cant seem to get the palming thing down when Kayaking. How minor is that given what the 13 went thru. Don't think for a moment they were not on my mind Mach 90. So elated!!!!

Hi all. I/We are back in our own Country. I was only able to check twice to get news updates. They were the most important. Folks we talked to were asking and we were networking verbally with bits and pieces. This rescue was truly EPIC. I didn't hear until later today they were all rescued. It was a group effort here sharing and caring. Which reminds me despite, the world is ok. Due to folks who pull together and what we see when Countries pull together. There is way too much for me to go back and review. I'm so tired I hope my post makes sense LOL
I hope these boys in time when ready get every book/ movie deal approved by them and they can go on to make the world a better place. These fine young men are obviously built for it. So very proud of them. I/We luv the Thai culture and have researched it much. On our bucket list. Bless them as they move forward.

Bravo dahling! We missed you! Glad you're back and had a safe trip. ❤︎

ETA-- lol... I have been trying to catch up, reading posts in order, and replying. I just now saw that this came up right after Bravo said goodnight!. Just seemed funny!

Interesting details in this article:

One diver, John Volanthen, reached the end of his line, fastened it in the mud, and emerged from the water to find 13 pairs of eyes staring at him.

The boys, having no idea of the international fixation over their plight, were surprised to learn that the diver was from Britain.

Had Mr. Volanthen’s line been 15 feet shorter, he would most likely have missed them.

Children with signs of pneumonia may need to remain at hospital for a week and can rest at home for another week. Almost all 13 survivors have had high white blood cell count, suggesting infection. All in great spirits, not stressed - Medical team

And what does Dick Stanton say?
Could the sub bend around a 15 inch wide tunnel?

Yes. I posted earlier that Stanton was urging Musk to continue the project because of his concern for the tiniest of the boys who just got out today.

"All #ThamLuang survivors are in great spirits probably because they've always stayed together as a team": Medical team on their mental health, adding they've lost about 1-2kg while trapped in caves. All conscious upon arriving at hospital, able to speak
