19.5% oxygen levels, cave air is at 15% or was overnight.
12-16% oxygen can cause impaired thinking, impaired attention,
lack of coordination even at rest.
Symptoms may begin as nausea and vomiting.
Not good conditions if they plan on forcing them out today and
diving while impaired.
this may be cause of sickness in coach and 2 boys, MOO.

Since they've had long-term exposure to guano, they may have histoplasmosis, a fungal infection, which causes flu-like respiratory symptoms. Most healthy people don't know they've contracted this infection. Immunocompromised people (the kids are malnourished and emotionally stressed) will have symptoms and may be unable to fight off the fungal infection without treatment.

Can yo’all hear my stomach grumbling? It sounds like it is crying! My puppy moved to the opposite side and end of the bed. I know many of you are going thru the same thing.

This is so nerve wrecking with so many boys to get out. How many divers do they have? If they are going to use two divers with each boy, they will need around 12 divers. We have heard all kind of numbers on the length of the round trip. Going with the 11 hour round trip, the divers will be exhausted and must take a sleep break , plus several eat breaks to gain strength for their next trip. Of course, we must factor in that one or two divers are going to be unable to make a second trip due to exhaustion, physical or mental. We are not going to Consider any accidents.

Every second counts once the rescue begins!

Breaking News- by current Govenor who has already been replaced and moved out of area.
Fri. July 6th-
Late last night Govenor said "They will try to begin bringing out the boys, a dangerous operation but the most viable at this point."

As of Friday, the govenor is not at the cave after he was transferred to another area of the country despite the ongoing operation which he has led from the start.

Oh Lordy. I wrote a post a while back saying that at least it's good that the boys already know the confined areas, since they went through them by choice. But of course this is probably also why they might be apprehensive now as well ...because they know what it is like!
Does anyone know how long the most narrow part is? Every time I try to find a diagram of it, I get sidetracked...
