You know what is just amazing? People of all faiths and creeds are here (and all over the world) praying or sending good thoughts to these young men and the rescuers. I've been doing a BA in Studies of Religion and seeing the support of so many paths spiritually warms my heart.

Perhaps we aren't all that different when it comes to adversity. Even non-religious folks are pulling for our "Wild Boars". On a website like this where we daily see so much pain, it is comforting to know we are all of one mind here.

It seems a madhouse. Yesterday I saw something on the ABC live stream-- they appeared to be hauling out bags of trash. That makes me feel good; leave a lesser imprint on natural areas. Even in disaster, there are minor concerns being met.

CNN is reporting that all signs lead to rescue (dive) beginning very soon. Thai Navy Official: Cave rescue may "happen soon" as monsoon rains are fast approaching.

Stop the presses! On the Reuters feed they just showed a close up on an "high explosives" sign. There's a stack of what looks like air tanks behind. Maybe they are prepping for a chain dive? Is this it?

It is now dark at the site, but that won't matter if they are diving them out.

True. But the monks were a new addition. Dammit, I am so up and down emotionally that I can hardly think straight. Hold my hand?

I believe there were nine monks and what appeared to be numerous tables for ceremony. Two of the monks were elderly and required assistance to walk the path as well as enter and exit the transport vehicles. I sense a heightened activity and tension.

There is definitely a lot more activity compared to this time yesterday. Could be because of the impending rain. Two guys are sawing logs, maybe to make further shelters for the volunteers?

I sense that too and there is no way they would start without a blessing cermony
