Perhaps for privacy for the children and parents. And for the media to stay out of their way.More tarp going up, they definitely want to obscure the view.

But..........why block the entrance/exit???
If I compute this correctly I'm guessing they could have all out byI've just been going over these questions in my head.
I believe they have 8 expert british cave divers there now.
If it takes 2 for each boy, that would be 4 boys come out today, 4 more 10 hours later, 4 more 10 later etc.
Last I heard from Brit diver, it's taking 5 hours per trip- not dragging a passenger- but alone.
this may not be over til Mon. am. just guessing.
Selflessly, yes, SunVenus, I, for one, absolutely treasure your inspirational posts, messages of high hope and words of divine wisdom. Not just for this while we're here...but for life and about life. You give me and remind me about hope and faith and other positive thoughts and messages that I am holding onto as I grasp for hope and faith during my own personal heartbreak and crisis, hourly wait and see ...for my son. My apologies all for the OT.O/T and speaking of moments of levity...
Is it wrong that I'd rather re-watch "Reservoir Dogs" for the umpteenth time, than sit through the "It" remake?
I need something going on here in the background otherwise I will go stir-crazy watching that ABC live feed of the rescue.
Moral of the story: Australian Foxtel "cable" really sucks.![]()
Yes I think so too. We don't know the condition they might be in after the treacherous journey. It is respectful to them to not display them for the world to see until they decide.Perhaps for privacy for the children and parents.
Earlier in Reuters Live Feed, I swore I heard a helicopter and noticed most of the guards at entrance looked up and were watching also.I would think they might have Medevac helicopters available if a rescue was going on?
I'll go back up thread, but if somebody could bump the live feed for an internet site that would be appreciated thank you
With all due respect KaaBoom, the team was only located what, four days ago? Five? Elon Musk and many other companies, volunteers, etc. have only come on board once the team was located. Before that, during the search, no one knew if they young men were even alive. I don't think anyone is trying to use this for publicity. People genuinely want to help, and experts from all walks of life are donating time & resources. It seems a bit unfair to blame someone who really could assist in the rescue just being in it the for the glory.
Hang in there, my friend! This is super-stressful. We all share in your fears and hopes. *hugs*
because they are minors and children that are being rescued? Many times when there are children involved the media do not photograph and the officials trying to Shield them?

For WHIW SunVenus, your posts and contributions are "making a diffference" in a persons' life...mine. And I thank you so very much.
I don’t think it’s hours behind either. At least not today, but I do think it’s slightly delayed.Regarding the time on abcnews live feed, I do not think it is delayed by hours. When I started watching it was already dark at the scene and sunset was only a short time before.
moo
Rain has started on the live feed, so I reckon about half an hour out from real time?
Yes, I'm known where I live as the bird lady. In addition to having my own flock of feathered friends that I've rescued from abusive homes, I am a volunteer for tristate bird rescue. Birdie, above, was my first feathered best friend...he had a brain clot that took his life....but not before he last words.... I love you and then made his big kiss mimic.Awww... thank you! I appreciate you as well, your faith and strength and goodwill in all this scary mess. And is that an African Grey Parrot I see in your profile picture? Are you a crazy bird lady like me?
I, too am experiencing some heartache with my son. I hope you find some comfort and I'll keep you in my thoughts. *HUGS*
