Daily Mail has identified the rescued boys. Hope this isn't a repeat.
Wish I could make a link.
Luddite here.

Here I go again.

Daily Mail has identified the rescued boys. Three of them. Maybe the coach was the fourth person removed from the cave. The reason I say that is, the Australian doctor was the one triaging and he might have insisted that the coach get out before he expired. Maybe he's the one who went to the local hospital in poor condition. Hmmmm

I agree. 30 American military personnel (including Navy Seals) from the US Pacific Command plus Thai officials and Thai divers had been searching for the boys for 8 days before the British diver "accidentally" found them when he ran out of rope and then surfaced in their cavern.

I think at that point, it was a recovery mission. They were hoping they would be able to find their bodies. They didn't outright say it, but it was certainly hinted at.

No, this has been going on for 15 days, already. They have only gotten involved in the last couple of days. But more important, if they were really concerned about cave rescues, they should have been developing the equipment before this. You don't develop rescue equipment as it is needed, because that is too late. This is nothing but a publicity stunt.

Do you seriously believe Elon Musk should have put on a wet suit and dived with the Thai and American Seals for the boys during the first 9 days that they were missing?
That's the ONLY way he would have know there was a tortuous cave path needing someone to invent a rescue pod.

Three days after the boys were found, he began creating plans for rescue pod to save them even though he was never asked to do so and would have to finance the endeavor with his own money.

It's been a truly international effort, as it has here. We have posters from Canada, Australia, US, UK, Japan, New Zealand, India (who have I missed?!) keeping up a rolling shift pattern of news!

One report today after the rescue said that the boys and their buddy diver had constant physical contact. This graphic does not show that. I wonder how they would keep physical contact in those tight spaces.
(sff)
I wonder if they consider the tether to "technically" be physical contact? Sounds odd, though.

No, I think he should have been working on the equipment at that time. Not after the rescue is already underway. At this point his help is just symbolic.

They divers didn't take out the older 16-year-old boys first or the younger 11 and 12-year olds boys. That's interesting. One of the boy rescued today has a known health problem, asthma.

All you have to do is google the time in Thailand. It will tell you the correct time. It is currently 5:35 AM there.
Hey, It's 5 oclock somewhere.....

Not ready to bring out the Vodka just yet. I think I'll wait until closer to the time when more boys should be coming out!

He has internet access. So I think he knows what's going on. He just didn't care, until he realized the publicity this could bring him and his companies.

So, somewhat OT but my 14 year old daughter left home in VA June 22 to go several states away (Illinois, Indiana and Michigan) for a trip to a national choir performance and tour then directly to Florida with a friend and their family. I’ve been a basket case worrying about her and we’ve been in contact the entire time. She just got home today and I’m so relieved! I just cannot fathom the worries these families are going through.

It's pretty bad when the NYT and DM are putting out the same story with differing facts and I can't decide who I should believe.
