I wonder if the boys will start to milk it and ask for all these treats I hope they do. Work it boys. Flutter those eyelashes.

And their big beautiful smiles!

I know there is a bad reputation for that, but not everyone who goes to Thailand is looking for ugly & illegal practices. It sucks to hear that for all of us who have been there for the sheer joy of seeing an new place! It hurts the majority of the good Thai folks as well.

The Thai people and their LE are every bit as against abuse as any other nation. This is not the time or place to even begin to discuss these issues, IMO.

Now is the time as the world is looking. It is time for the other nations to do as Australia has done . That is the way that the Thai govt can be supported to stop this intetnational travel

Amen.

I for one am not going to tune into "The Real Wild Boars and All Their Adolescent Adventures." If such a monstrosity happens, I just hope these young men can go on to have normal, happy lives, with no bloody nightmares and PTSD and media in their faces. Yuck.

...OMG what a horrifying thought!!! NO reality TV shows!

I so very much hope they won't suffer PTSD either. I wonder if perhaps always having had resucers in there with them after they were found, might somehow help alleviate it a bit? As opposed to being found after nine days, then being immediately taken out. Maybe sharing their experience in there for days with many others, while waiting, will have a positive impact. Rather than the whole experience in there having been only dark, scared and hungry.
ya know? idk...
I just hope they won't be too traumatised.

But, WOW! They're OUT!!! ALIVE!!!
Imma sleep very well tonight.

ETA: I'm exhausted, and I didn't articulate this very well - but I think you'll get the gist of what I was trying to say!

So glad I was able to join all of you for some of this watching-and-willing last night. I had to crash out once I was fairly certain two were out and the rest right behind, but it was good to have people to share the tension and hope with. I'm also tremendously glad that the final rescue mission isn't just beginning now, as was the implied to be the schedule yesterday afternoon via the MSM I was monitoring. Bless all of the rescued young men, and their international team of heroes!

Ok one of my last posts. I need to clean. Lol.
I keep thinking of me if I was there. Imagine having to leave the ledge not knowing your outcome. The fear everyone must of felt. Gahhhh. I get anxious just thinking of it. As I mentioned I wouldn’t even jump into the ocean to snorkel until I was pushed in. Life jacket and all. I couldn’t do it. Bravery. All around. HOOYAH!

I'm sure this has already been mentioned as I've missed so many posts, but the pump team volunteered to stay behind and pump water out of the farm fields.

First I have read about this. So happy to hear this. Some of the fields looked like a small lake. What a nice gesture.

This story has had an amazing number of substories within the story. It truly is amazing. And except for the 1 tragic death it all ended with a happy ending. :)

Why do they release animals? The pig and chicken? Is it to the gods?

Elon Musk posted his emails with the diver who first found the boys, Richard Stanton. They were really worried about the smallest child who just got out today ❤️❤️❤️

Much of the focus has been on food, what the boys want/can eat right now, and what y'all are having to celebrate. Stir fried pork w/basil ... pecan pie ... bread and chocolate ... all sound yummy. But as a tribute to their rescue I'm going to try to make some congee, because it's what they're all allowed for now. I've never made this before ... I've never even had it. But it seems apropos, for a very late breakfast. :)

I had to go with my elderly dog to the doctor, he has congestive heart failure :( He got medication, waiting for blood results.
Just coming back and read that the other divers, doc and nurses are all out safe as well (Jonathan Head on Twitter) - but Im sure you guys already know that :)
Man Im so glad this went down without a hitch, a second death would have been unbearable.
I want to hug them all! Boys, coach, coordinators, divers and all the unnamed volunteers! They should all be so proud of themselves. I have deep respect for everyone involved in this rescue.
