I am curious as to why they took Crystal to the vacant house. It seems like it could have been in welatka or Pomona Park. Is there a reasont they showed her this place? Did she and rc live nearby it at one time? I wonder it it is near Beecher Springs Rd?

Back when it happened, I was under the impression it was in Georgetown, but who knows where that little tidbit originated. [And I do apologize for repeating that if it was wrong, both then and now.]

She stated...I got there 10 minutes after we noticed she was gone. Odd statement don't ya think?

Also, I honestly believe it is quite possible Jr. just may someday put it all together...And it won't be pretty when he does either..JMO

Kudos, y'all.

[What a shame we wasted who-knows-how-many-months arguing about all of the sideshow carp.]

Thank you for going back and reviewing this, suspicious. I don't think I ever noticed the "10 minutes after" nor the use of WE.

It appears by listening to Hardy that he is not saying that was reported about the pink shirt is necessarily true. No matter what was asked his reply was it is relevant to the investigation and I cannot comment.

Between this comment and the search done the first few days, I am going to stick my neck out again and say the pink shirt was recovered elsewhere...not where Misty said.

I see that there is a pink shirt thread now also....

to add to that, IMO, it wasn't found by Misty either.....

Personally, I think LE let her "find" it, perhaps to illustrate that they knew she was lying and/or had no idea wth she was talking about. But, JMO.

I didn't know where to post this so I will just put my comment here.

I was just reading through some old media links/articles and noticed something. When it came out that JR may have seen his sisters abductor, you know, seeing a man in black with squeaky shoes, bouncing couch......

GMS/TN tried to discredit everything JR said.

<snipped>

SATSUMA, Fla. --- Annette Sykes says reports that her great-grandson saw a man dressed in black inside the house the night his sister disappeared are false. Sykes says Crystal Sheffield, Haleigh Cummings biological mother, went on the Nancy Grace show and said four-year-old Ronald Jr. told her a man in black took his sister.
“I carried him for the child psychologist to interview him…he spent quite a lot of time with two or three different ones. They said his story changed. Each time you ask him something, you know, you ask it a different way and he’d change his story,” said Sykes.

Haleigh's Brother Says He Saw the Suspect

"He was asleep. I got there 10 minutes after we noticed she was gone. I had Junior, he said he didn't know anything...said he was asleep," Haleigh's great grandmother, Annette Sykes, told First Coast News on Monday.Detectives have talked to the child. Relatives on both sides say he told police he saw a man in a ski mask come in their trailer and leave with his big sister.
"They questioned Junior. I asked them (police) about it. They couldn't tell me anything other than he's a little child. He was questioned and the story went from one thing to another and another," says Sykes.
Child psychologist Dr. Lynn Wadelton says the average four-year-old can give an accurate account of what they witness. But there are factors that can sometimes cloud the story.

BBM
GMS arrived at the mh 10 mins after they noticed Haleigh was gone?

This may mean nothing but I just found it odd that GMS didn't even entertain the thought that JR may KNOW what he's talking about. This just makes me think that JR may know more than what they were giving him credit for.

I just thought about something else.

GMS claims that she arrived 10 mins after "they" noticed that Haleigh was gone and that JR didn't know anything. TN got to the mh in record time too soooo were they together? Both of them put themselves so close to the mh when all this happened. Her choice of words seem odd to me too. "when we noticed she was gone" sounds to me like someone who saw Haleigh after she passed away.JMO.

Who is "we"? I wonder if this is the Aunt L and they noticed Haleigh was gone (passed away) when they went to the mh at around 7p? Or is it TN?

GMS also says that she got there within 10 min and that she had JR. Is that why we don't hear JR on the 911 call? GMS had already been there to pick up JR before the call? That's what it sounds like to me.hmmmmm Makes me wonder if the man in black that JR saw was someone that had come with GMS/TN....and in the mist of them taking JR, the mystery man in black took Haleigh, all at the same time.

Both TN and AS arrived like Supe r Heroes that night. And both were in the MH also...so go figure that one. We know TN got in sporting her neffy Sherriff's emblem...but where was AS? did n't she also say she looked around the MH too? I wonder if she had jr most of the night and brought him back at 3:00 or so.

According to AS who was allegedly there earlier also, misty fed and bathed the kids. Misty also added she helped Haleigh with homework. Homework? kindergarden According to misty...she was a real little susie homemaker.....NOT!

Unlike TN, though, GGM states she was there 10 minutes after "we" knew Haleigh was gone, which would put her at the MH before Ronald got there at 3:24 a.m., since Misty seems to stick to saying "I seen 3" and GGM states on one of her videos that Misty noticed Haleigh gone at 3.

thought of the day...AS stated she didn't answer the phone when rc called but answered it when TN called. Why didn't TN just drive by and pick up her mother. They both lived close by.....according to TN.....

For the record again. TN was registered as living in Fruitland Park with her boyfriend. It is 80 miles away. I know, I know the Sykes and the Cummings and Neves all keep the single wide trailer in PP in various names for the past, now going on six years. When somebody figures this out, let me know.

IMHO.. Ron C was blowing HOT AIR..Or shall I say that was all for show..

A Red Herring

A fallacy in which an irrelevant topic is presented in order to divert attention from the original issue. ...JMO

How can you be so sure?

Ron is reportedly a drug informatant...................

BBM - Reportedly? I've never heard/read it reported that Ronald is an informant. :waitasec: Perhaps you meant "rumored" rather than "reported"...?

The single 12 ft wide trailer that must be located on beach property ? For the life of me I can't figure out how a single wide trailer with no registered parcel gets an addition. How in the world do you put an addition on a trailer? What is it worth, maybe 3,000 dolloars? This is way beyond my thinking capacity....I need to contact Jeff Foxworthy.

Even more perplexing is how can that possibly be true when she states she was there 10 minutes after 'we' noticed Haleigh was gone? If Ronald was calling 911 until 3:34, calling his mom right after that (getting her there in 12 minutes or less) and his granny isn't answering the phone....I guess it just doesn't equate for me.

Ron an informant....fancy word there. Now, Snitch, I could buy...and not a reliable one at that. He would turn in anyone or hold anyone responsible but himself for any wrongdoing.

Me either Debs. GMS has some explaining to do for sure. Makes me think about the article about LE saying there are others who are not being truthful.

"I just think we'd like people to fill in some gaps better, specifically going toward the timeline you're talking about," Bowling said.

He said the last person to see Haleigh, Croslin, has been cooperative but inconsistent.

"There are inconsistencies that have remained since the beginning," Bowling said.

He also said other people aren't giving them the whole truth.

"It's not just one individual that we want to fill in those gaps," Bowling said.
"All of the reasons people would be fearful about cooperating with police are all roadblocks here."

How does she know that JR didn't know anything? did she question him herself? Did she coach him? Did she have his with her most of the night?

She has used the pronound "WE" when she allegedly visited at 7:30; and now again when she arrived at 3:40...but she says 4:00am IIRC.

I wonder if jr was there after 8:00pm. Kinda makes you think somebody took him with them that evening.

Has anyone ever given any thought as to why TN did not go over there herself at 7:30 to check on the kids. Why did she have to send "A family member over". Oh, and why does this family member do the children's laundry and not TN. OH, and why have we never heard of the kids visiting or rc EVER staying at TN's?

I think this was the first time it was entertained that a possiblity exist that there is more than one perp in this mess. LE is alluding to more than just one person being involved in Haleigh disappearance....a very unusual crime, imo.

Listing the reasons for people being fearful about cooperating with police would be a good study.

1. fear of losing custody of children
2. fear of bodily harm
3. fear of going to jail/prison

These are what come to mind for me.

I've been reading through some old articles for the past day or so and ran across this comment from GGM that's interesting:

Annette Sykes, Haleigh's great-grandmother, said the bedroom door was kept open at night and the television was always on.

"I can't see how they can get her in and out with the TV on," Sykes said.

http://www.news4jax.com/news/18872949/detail.html#-

GGM's wondering how "they" could get her in and out with the TV on, and I'm really wondering how Misty saw the "glare" from a kitchen light with the TV on as she described with considerable animation during her LVA exam.

 • #1,097
Papa, thanks for that. I have a question: why would "they" get her in?

 • #1,098
I'd like to know how TN and GMA both know that ron and misty always sleep with the door open...

I am glad now that we have confirmation that LE knows other people are lying and they also haven't filled in the timeline accurately.....JUST as most of us have been saying all along.

The people who need to fill in the critical timeline are RC, Misty, TN and GMA.

What in the world did GMA mean when she said, "Get her in and out"...with the TV on? I can assume there is both a TV in the living room and the bedroom. What would having a TV on have to do with getting somebody in and out of a MH?

Thanks for posting the links suspicious1. I have to admit, at this point, nearly a year now since HaLeigh disappeared, if this particular comment made by Bowlings; "All of the reasons people would be fearful about cooperating with police are all roadblocks here." is an indication that he actually had it all wrong from the get-go - That the real reason certain people weren't/aren't being cooperative with the police actually had/has very little, if anything, to do with their fear of extra-curricular (illegal) activities being exposed but has everything to do with them not wanting their participation & involvement in the death and disposal of a child to be found out - Perhaps giving certain family members the benefit of the doubt prevented LE from seeing the REAL ROADBLOCK...JMHO -

I think misty was describing and not meaning to tell that she was sleeping on the couch in the living room...
