Another case we've been following and actively working on and getting a lot of questions about is the Walker County Jane Doe (WCJD) case. The background to this story's been covered widely here and elsewhere.
Don't despair, Readers. Unlike certain others, we haven't forgotten about her. I think that we now know the girl's killers---there were apparently two men involved---and her movements in the months preceding her death. We now have some information possibly linking her to Aransas Pass, Texas and strong circumstantial evidence as to her identity. We were on the verge on getting some documentary evidence to confirm; but the COVID lockdowns in Texas shut off those sources. However, this is all looking solid on paper: and we'll get this done in spite of all the obstacles.
