Yeah, I've wondered about that too. I have a small wooden box about 6x6" with a clear plastic top that slides on and off that a set of alphabet blocks came in that my kids had. So it could have been a big storage box or just a small one for the blocks. My wooden box would make a hefty weapon, even empty.
We often see funeral homes or other businesses donating services, including caskets and burial plots to families who have lost children. And not only kids - a company donated a custom casket for Vanessa Guillen. Google "funeral home donates" and many examples will come up.
I think the real point though was to be cautious about giving money to people before having all the information. There's no control over where the donated money goes or how it's used. We've seen plenty of campaigns that probably funded a defense attorney or drug habit and unless it's reported there's not much that can be done. MOO.
I've been wondering if the box was perhaps just the actual box that the blocks came in when they were new. ?? Maybe Maliyah liked keeping them in that box.
