Next witness: Chris Lester, Austin-Travis County EMS. He has been with ATCEMS for 18 years. At the time of the murder, he was a district commander, going to medical calls and performing administrative tasks.
Lester is now recalling his memories from the night of the murder. Lester responded and saw officers and firefighters on the scene. Lester walked up while CPR was in progress. Fire department was the one who was trying to decide if CPR should continue. Lester could see big pool of blood around the head and vomit coming out of the mouth.Blood pool was about twice the size of the patient's head.
Moriah's father has his head in his hands and it appears as if he is plugging his ears with his fingers. Lester is describing the state of his daughter's body and it is graphic for us all.
Discussing when to make a death pronouncement: there were obvious signs of death upon arrival and so they were able to get a time-of-death from medical director. No more questions from State.

These Defense questions are not going to erase/deflect the horror that monster KA left behind. I hope we find out what KA is doing during this graphic body cam footage and LE testimony.Also the jurors.

KA’s birthday is 11/21. I only remember this because I share her bday.
I hope she receives a guilty verdict for her birthday and spends the rest of her life behind bars.

BODY CAM: It begins with Padilla and another officer climbing the stairs of the apartment. Padilla observes the bike bag in front of the staircase, which he said was abnormal. He kicks it to make sure nothing else is in the bag.He enters apartment. Caitlin Cash is being moved from the bathroom to the couch. She is crying and immediately moves from the couch to outdoor balcony. She can hardly breathe. Cash tells an officer that Mo was with Strickland and that they went swimming. Cash begins to gather her composure. Begins to share more details about Colin and Mo and their plans. Says she last spoke to Mo at ~5:30.
