OK, thanks. That is consistent with the other video that he was in his own yard. So whats your point?

He was not in his own yard. He came right out to the street and began to interfere with the investigation going on.

Agree. I'm so tired of seeing nice neighborhoods slowly disintegrate because of the let's hang out here aspect. If you have a backyard; Then hang out there or inside or keep it moving. Jmo

As far as I can tell the hanging out was over and they were leaving? Did LE just happen upon that or not? Would really like to know.

This is a well spoken guy - his take on the matter at the moment matters imo. He saw what happened before the dash/body cams came into play. Jmo.
Why wouldn't he be a well spoken guy?

How do we know that he saw what happened before the body cams came into play? I thought he was in his house when the questioning began.

My pojnt is that the arrest was totally justified. The councilman was given several warning and refused to comply.

Watch the video. He is in his own yard. There are is grass and trees all the way around him. The street does not have grass and trees on it.

In the body cam video it is clear that the councilman came out to the street and interfered. The male officer asked him a few times to 'go back' and step away from the investigation. He did not do so. He was given a verbal warning twice. And again, did not heed the warning.

After watching the longer video it's obvious the officer asked Miller several times to move further away and to "go back to the end". Miller refused to move.

If you interfere with a police investigation and refuse to step far enough away to end that interference your going to get arrested. If you don't comply with police commands to put your hands behind your back, your going to get Tazed.

JMO

Looks like he was on the sidewalk to me.

Can a person interfere with a police investigation if the suspects are on his front lawn? I don't think so. That just my opinion though.

Technically. Homeowners don't own the curb nor sidewalk. So the curb or sidewalk is fair game. Just saying.

He is on the sidewalk. That's what it looks like to me. But it does not even matter. Because he was interfering with the 'stop' that the cops had made. Two cops and 5 citizens. That makes cops edgy. They need to keep control of the situation. he should have stepped back to his porch and watched quietly.

That was not the question. You were supposed to be proving that he was on the street, not in his yard. The video doesn't prove that.

It looked to me like he was on the lawn or maybe the dirt in front of the building.

I am not katy but I must say at this point that it does not matter where he is he did not listen and obey police at the time they were already engaged with other folks. I have never seen where it is OK to throw/jump/insert yourself into a matter that does not concern you. jmo idk

He could have been on the roof, if he didn't listen to LE and obey what they said he will be and should be arrested. jmo idk

If it is his property, I think he has a responsibility to find out whats going on there.

I don't care if he was in the street, on his lawn, on someones lawn or on his roof. He has no right to interfere just because those being questioned are his "guests". LE told him to butt out. He did not comply. That being said I believe it was excessive to taser him if he was on his knees.

And that can be done without interfering and resisting arrest.

Not a profile but a description of suspects previous crimes.

What previous crimes? How were the suspects described? From what I've read it seems random, like the guys were at their car and the cops stopped. I haven't read anything about the cops stopping because the men resembled suspects from previous crimes or known criminals.
