Suzy did not mention Jen, but yes It appears Jen and Claudia was sat with a unknown group.Suzy perhaps felt they were both too drunk to hold a conversation with at that point in the evening x

On the face of it a late night chinese takeaway after a day of social drinking wouldnt be something that might be out of the ordinary. But did an ebriated Claudia say something in conversation over this particular meal that would have dire consequences for a local undercover operation. Was her policeman boyfriend part of the police/NCA team that uncovered a Chinese gang's massive cannabis factory at Elvington Ind estate?

Det Con Paul Johnson's interview gives us an insight into the scale of the Cannabis operation in his interview outside the Ind Unit.
He also says 'the investigations will continue and we will see were that takes us'.
Did those investigations lead them to certain properties at Heworth Place and East Parade that served as supply chains for locals, the Limes and York Uni students?
Note the business name on the Ind unit is Yunda Oriental Food Distribution I expect their customer list made interesting reading.

An undercover operation and raid on a Massive Cannabis factory in Elvington York in Feb.
Claudia's car is off road from Feb.
Text speak on CL's phone include Nugs and Cat street names for drugs. Cat being popular with students as it is said to improve mental function.
A change in Claudia's usual daily and social activities leading up to the 18th.
which in my opinion included involvement of the protection services
A possible significant incident outside Melrosegate PO on the 18th which was on her route home.
Claudia goes missing.
On the same night suspicious activity around Heworth Rd/Place
One of the Chinese Cannabis Farm gang members murdered in March
Richard Cartwright the owner of rented properties in East Parade and Heworth Place dies suddenly at his home in early April.

Its a complex case mainly due to Claudia having led large part of her life in secret I dont necessarily associate this secrecy solely on her alledged muliple personal relationships but more that she was possibly involved in the work of law enforcement/NCA and a possible boyfriend who worked in it.
Again these are my opinions only others may have a different view.

Yes you may be right. Its been said that claudia was loose lipped that night. Im so on the fence as to what happened to claudia. Im swaying between her friends are involved or know who is and are scared for their own safety to speak out.

In my opinion an incident happened outside the Melrosegate PO on the 18th the cctv clip of Claudia or as PL said someoneone who looked like CL was posting a letter. stamps appear on the video. We are led to believe this footage was of CL on her route home from work on the 18th. Unfortunately no time or date stamps appear on the video footageto give an exact time.
An equiry to Cold Case may be able to confirm the time of the footage shown if you need it PJ.

Perhaps you’re right this is a story within a story within a story and if you are right the top commander would be aware of it so would be bank mangers possibly family and police handler ( not necessarily boyfriend )
Question: Could the person that harmed her got an inkling of what was going on but mistook it for infidelity/ cheating ?
if what you suspect is true ,we also understand that life operations have to carry on .I hope and pray some clever policeman in cold case can find a way of getting the killer without having to reveal the whole story for the sake of her family and hundreds others around the Uni .
