Profile pic oddly. Like there was something in the pic he was trying to hide - I don’t suppose you have a pick

The person and I think it was SC who said her family called her Claude and not Claudia then her friends called her Claude the Cat then later still “we dropped Claude and simply called her cat “

Interesting information. I was wondering why claudia would arrange a late meet up having such early starts for work. So why the text to JK saying working 12 days on the trot?!

Perhaps she wanted to avoid JK for a while, but if that was the case why arrange to meet up with SC at the nags on the Thursday night? - Or perhaps she didn't arrange anthing with SC for the Thursday night?

I do not believe any arrangements were made, was Suzy there herself as no one has ever Confirmed as far as I am aware, well Possibly some close friends have done so. We know Claudia was drinking Sunday with Jen, and seen her two days prior her disappearance to help her with a problem. I do wonder why GF was out of town first thing on Friday morning. And why wait for him to return to go to Claudias.

Suzzy was not going to stand outside Claudia’s house when there was a perfect place to wait ie NH . GF at some stage returned to his pub . Her father probably parked there too and why not ?
One thing we need to remember this story is being told by many people and being retold yet again by many writers .Few have a full picture of what actually happened .
Do you think we’ll hear important things for her anniversary ? Or is Covid putting the dumper on things ?Are police considered priorities for the vaccine ? I hope so they should be !

No I don’t think we should read much into that . Claudia had done it before and if your friend lets you down you don’t suspect foul play do you?
And IMO they were right she probably fell asleep...

Previous posts were questioning whether a meeting at nine pm was arranged .
And when Claudia didn’t turn up was not really a big deal ... she had done it before

I think you meant to say she disappeared before 10.00am on Weds the 18th March didnt you @Blonderabbit? .. I agree in my opinion the supposed thurs meet with SC at the NH never happened!

I agree Vixey in my opinion there were no arrangements made to meet up on the Thurs or SC even being there.
Was Claudia actually at the NH on the Weds night!!

And if it was in darkness with curtains closed, which it most probably was, they would have assumed she was a) in bed or b) out with a male friend. I believe her curtains were frequently closed, night and day.
It remains to be seen whether anyone in her circle already knew that she wouldn't attend the NH on Thurs evening.

I don’t think anyone from her ‘inner’ circle knew she would not be turning up Thursday because IMO they are all innocent .
She had an other circle of friends and acquaintances we are not hearing much about .Why ?

Perhaps other friends outside her "inner circle" were completely innocent. It would take a lot of evidence for the Police to put the case to the CPS. Because the CPS decided not to charge the 4 men and the police do not seem to be actively looking for anyone else leads me to believe that the Police are still waiting on someone to crack. All MOO

Off at a slight tangent but I’d been wondering about Claudia’s working career in York and suddenly found this 2009 article in which CL’s manager at the Monkbar Hotel in York confirms that Claudia actually worked there for seven years until leaving in July 2006.

There are clear references to his being at work with her so based on the length of their friendship it seems feasible that he probably worked with her at the Monkbar

I don’t believe CL moved (home) to York until 2004 when she broke up with her Malton boyfriend so did she commute from Malton for several years? After leaving the Monkbar I believe CL worked at the Comfort Inn at 53 Piccadilly, York for about a year before, of course, starting at York University in 2007.

Reviewing hair dye- cover up the smell of cleaning bleach. Ive never bleached my hair before but there seemed to be alot of opened packets. Or what if no cleaning bleach was avaliable so they improvised. Sorry if de-railing thread but im reading older threads and not seen it mentioned.
They had a huge uv light source at their hands ( sun bed) this would highlight bodily stains to clear ( may be a bit far fetched but worth mentioning)

@Vixey thanks for the info regarding CL and JK meeting Sunday this is new info for me. So what happened between Sunday, jk needs CL 's advice/help over a mystery problem and being a good supportive friend to the cold shoulder text to JK on Wednesday evening??

My thoughts are JK would want to know why the cold shoulder text ? Anyone know her reply to this?

Also the foot print on the scales , were two people in that compacted space so one had to stand on the scales .

The bleach products found in the bathroom are not a red herring in my opinion- I think the brown hair dye was but not the bleach. Any women knows bleaching hair is a risky job if done DIY ......its easy to end up with orangey blonde hair .......hhhhhmmm now where have I seen someone with that hair colour before ???
