Where does it say ‘3-4 times a week’?Think 3/4 times a week is a little intrusive, ok I also enjoy a night out with my father and very close but feel that was extreme imo. x

I wonder if PL was in the pub on the previous Friday when she got very drunk? When frequently visiting a pub? Who goes there to have nothing to do with people of all shadings?
ETA: If the other pub goers found it odd, that CL's father was there at CL's favorite pub and watched her getting drunk by her cider, maybe flirting with married men - that I can imagine. Idk, if it is usual to have a father and a daughter in the same pub, if not only for a nice meal together from time to time.
Maybe, CL changed her pub and went to the Acomb area because of her father?
Perhaps she preferred to use a box on the side of the road she was walking along. Or perhaps she did get a lift part way home to Melrosegate? Not sure if the collection times were the same in 2009 but info on Post Box Finder gives these collection details

I made the same mistake I should have said some of the NH customers.Agree completely apart from the all bit ...not fair to all involved !
he was a police prosecutor and therefore by implication knew police men and if you’re not quite kosher ie NH customers, you would be uncomfortable in his presence and that would be understandable .

We just don't know.

yes but there is no reason ( that I can see) why the driver would not have come forward like Jo did !Perhaps she preferred to use a box on the side of the road she was walking along. Or perhaps she did get a lift part way home to Melrosegate?

That would depend on the motive for offering her a lift and the individual concerned!I made the same mistake I should have said some of the NH customers.

He said it in a interview posted previously! will find it again xWhere does it say ‘3-4 times a week’?
He said it in a interview posted previously! will find it again x
I remember him saying that in an interview as well. Cant imagine he would drink and drive, wonder if he stayed over at Claudias as Slingsby quite a distance awayHe said it in a interview posted previously! will find it again x
I asked Suzy regarding this and she had no idea wether he stayed at claudias, the pub, taxi or drove home xI remember him saying that in an interview as well. Cant imagine he would drink and drive, wonder if he stayed over at Claudias as Slingsby quite a distance away
Hard to believe she wouldn't know, must have either seen him go home or leave with claudia at some time or anotherI asked Suzy regarding this and she had no idea wether he stayed at claudias, the pub, taxi or drove home x
Just catching up on the last 10 pages or so of this thread. It’s definitely CL posting a letter. It won’t be anything important, some tax thing for HMRC or something. I don’t think it’s of any relevance. All this talk of look-a-likes and decoys, people in wigs, if it wasn’t so tragic it would be funny. She was a 30 something cook at a university, it’s not a spy novel.
Why was PL not liked by the nags regulars, did he make them feel uncomfortable because they’d all shagged his daughter? I find it stretching credibility to the max that he was seeing someone, one of her friends, from that pub. Again, it’s somewhat laughable. I think the reason SC and JK are the friends who speak about her as opposed to malton girlfriends is they were the two she socialised with most when she went missing. Stop chasing shadows and inventing mad theories. It’s a lot more simplistic than that motive wise, but sadly I can’t see it being solved and I think the anniversary will pass without much media attention regrettably
IMO SC is coy and knows far more than she reveals.Hard to believe she wouldn't know, must have either seen him go home or leave with claudia at some time or another
Were the TM Lewin carrier bags under Claudia stairs his. Perhaps he kept his suits and shirts there-Unless they belonged to another man?I remember him saying that in an interview as well. Cant imagine he would drink and drive, wonder if he stayed over at Claudias as Slingsby quite a distance away
No, I can assure you as some people on here will know as seen my post and discussion previously! Peter Lawrence was speaking in the Interview so no mistake and I am sure how many times he said he visited the nags pub weekly x When I find it,I will post the link here xThis may be the article you're looking for. PL mentions the socialising with SC, JK, and GF and the being single etc...
