If the authorities asked a Male about their viewpoints of Claudia's lifestyle; then it may be reflected in a differing nature to a contrasting viewpoint given by a Female. Thus; a false label may be given to someone, based on someone unfounded norms that have been constructed by the society we live in.

Put simply; Claudia may have been falsely 'tagged' in a certain manner because she had been in a relationship with just 2,3, or 4 people in 5 yrs for example

At first; this may not sound important. However; if the authorities have been given the wrong impression, then they could be venturing around unnecessarily for copious non-existence Boyfriends

Caution could perhaps be demonstrated by PL? and others stating that they did not recognise certain 'labels' that were given to Claudia

Furthermore; jealous Females may of in fact given false labels to Claudia , when it could be considered that fellow Females would be more inclined to give a more favorable description
Would any of you happen to know what type of lock was on the back door of CL house? I have been looking but can't seem to find anything.
Chub only, same as the front door x

Claudia had started drinking back at the spotted Cow since January according to Liz. Lucy pope said Claudias usual haunts were the nags head and the Carlton x

@Vixey And Had CL not changed her usual tipple from Cider to Vodka in her later weeks?

Was this at the request of her new "friend" or was she trying to impress.

Vodka doesn't have a give away smell either.

Was CL trying to hide that she had been" out out" drinking with someone from her "Other" friend?

This is a good description @MEKON and I'm pleased you summarised simply the first paragraph :)o_O The only time that all would probably agree to a certain description is perhapsi f a lady was offering some kind of service.

A chub only lock means that you could close the door but forget to lock it, unlike a Yale that when closed would normally lock????

A good solution if you don't want to lock yourself out but bad if you want added protection.

I was just thinking that if someone had been in the house they would or wouldn't need a set of keys to lock the back door behind them when leaving. I assume police would have said if they had found the back door unlocked. Perhaps not.
Just mulling things over

Good point @Bagpipes Perhaps why there was the activity in the morning.
Someone returning from where Claudia was with her keys to check over the cottage and to make sure all was locked up?

Did I read somewhere that the contents (or some items) of CL handbag were found on the bed, alongside her handbag?
I'm thinking handbag possibly rummaged through, looking for the keys??

I don't think so @Bagpipes I recall all were tucked in her handbag hanging over the bed end.
However SC has a slightly different version.

I recall one version was that the bag was on the bed ad another version was that it was hanging of a bedstead.

Nothing sinister about it PL seems to be much closer to CL
They drunk together about once a week lent her his car and he was mobile he also reported her missing and probably knew the police officers in charge

@Popejohn3 You keep mentioning that PL would know Police in charge and because of his occupation as a solicitor.

I'm afraid this is highly unlikely.

PL was a prosecutor when he lived in Darlington but moved to Malton before Claudia was born.

When he arrived at Malton, he changed his emphasis from being a prosecution lawyer to a conveyancing solicitor.

The reason given was that he wanted more sociable hours to be around more and be a good Father-Bless him.

The only Police officers who would remember him would probably be retired when Claudia went missing (35 Years on) perhaps apart from the junior rooky bobbies in Darlington (Not York) from 35 Years ago.

Even Galloway would have still been in short trousers back then.

Just thought I would mention this...

With reference to the 'blending in' with what could look like a normal activity in the area. Could a body be removed and 'disguised' under the guise of a delivery or what could be normally considered as objects needing to be taken out of the Cellar? I wonder where the Cellar doors were; especially if some doors were at floor level

If an act did occur in or near Claudia's home; IMO I think Claudia has been removed via the use of a vehicle out of sight from a camera. Or something has been used to obscure the camera, under the act of a 'so called' normal task

@MEKON What about the vehicle with orange flashing lights reflecting in the window of the corner house at 05:07 on CCTV when alley person goes into HP.
It wasn't bin day but was it a removal truck and perhaps with a car on the back of it.

Spoke to police but they said they had checked it out and immaterial-But then they would say that.

At one point they said it was a flashing street light.
Not being fooled by that answer I googled the area.
No street lights in vicinity would reflect in that way and funnily if it was a street light, an hour later it had been fixed.:p

Sorry but my council aren't that responsive even at a social time of day.

See what I mean about LE not being transparent?

It is not a link @Popejohn3 It is my text in RED

It is a way of emphasising part of my post to highlight the most important part.:D
Bless you.

Handbag and keys aside, I'm not convinced SC was actually there when PL entered the house on the 20th. When PL talks about it in newspapers and the book he just says himself and GF, he doesn't mention SC.
SC puts herself there. Imo.
Again, just mulling things over.

I completely agree with you. @Bagpipes There are two versions here:
One its just GF and PL
another version is that SC is with them.

I think the reason for this is inaccurate press reporting and so it is one MSM article v another.

Our expert in archived information @Vixey will be along soon to help here:)
