She socialized in a pub in Acomb around 2 weeks before her death.
Yes, I understand - though apart from her ex Co worker we don’t know who with….do we?

The cellar floor of The Acomb was dug up around 2014. PH was the landlord at the time and arrested for pcj
Which then led to the 4 arrests.

Some suggested she could have been visiting her policeman friend possibly at or near the police station there ?

It looks like the breaking car seen near her house has something to do with her disappearance imo

I’ve seen a preface lift focus like the one seen braking in a picture near where JK lived at the time - educum way or something like that - Vixey may have the pic

I'm glad Mark Williams Thomas is looking into this case, its always helpful to have a fresh pair of eyes on a difficult case

Yes if you put to one side the 4 and just step through what you know to be fact. Build the foundation. I think it’s easier to then explore theories and lines of enquiry. It’s a guess to know her phone was switched/ran out of charge in Acomb. Though we know for a fact she did frequent Acomb leading up to her disappearance. - so Acomb is a line. Walking to work for instance on the 19th - there’s no evidence other than her missing items. While it’s a possibility - it’s highly unlikely IMO. Came to harm on the 18th is likely though not at home. Her phone remained ilocal up to just after 10am. You know by 6am something must have happened to alter her course. When you look at this case - there’s really such a small window to explore. When you look at cctv, you see lots of men - no jealous wives. I reflect and think if it was me in place of JK - would I still be in turmoil 13 years later - no - if I was SC would I be spending 13 years with my life on hold whilst I defend my reputation on social media - no. If I hadn’t anything to do with it - why worry what’s said! One day I’m going to read on my phone someone’s be arrested for the abduction and murder of Claudia lawrance - and it can’t come a day to soon

This one went by me at the time - just now watched it.

Another curious claim (to me, at least) in there is that CL’s phone pinged the university mast on the morning of 19/3 (already known) - but *not* the antenna covering her home or the Heworth Road area (from 10:34 in the video). By their reckoning, Acomb would have been covered, though had it been in that area at the time it would presumably have connected to another mast nearby in the same way that allowed police to ascertain that CL had been visiting there in the weeks prior to her disappearance.

Oh, for a 2009 mobile mast map of York…

I found this resource but I can’t explore t full screen at the moment - it may show you what was available in 2009 -I know there was concern in 3002 in York about the growing number of towers - companies such as cellnet (now o2) orange vodaphone etc would just build their own masts - pressure was put on these companies to share masts. So mast location data should be available in the public domain if it helps you

He does say on his video that the last sighting of Claudia was on cctv at the costcutter after speaking to the child minder. Surely this is not correct

Which phone network did CL use?

If she was seen outside costcutter, did she buy food or did she visit the bookies or the travel agents for something

Hi my opinion is do not rely on anything stated in this link. Some of it is correct but some of it isn’t . DYOR

There is no photo or cctv evidence to say she did, so I doubt that part of the video is correct

If CL called her mum from her house on the 18th, her phone would ping when she moved to a different cell phone area on her way to work. Her phone signal remained in the 120 degree arc until 10am

Yes though it doesn’t mean she was still in her house. You see this is what I meant on a recent previous post of mine - you are stuck in her house wondering how she could have possibly left alive or deceased without being seen, no screams, no evidence of an attack at home and the very things she would take with her if she was leaving voluntarily are missing. There are only a couple of possible explanations 1. She left with the suv. The focus in the morning picked her up. - though you wonder how Claudia knew to wait, as if she was to walk she would have left 30mins before.

One of the problems I have encountered in this case is the “Christopher Jefferies in the room”

There’s always a chance the police have been blindsided - the cps are saying insufficient evidence. We look at the elephant and it looks guilty, it behaves like it’s guilty - though there’s no proof, there’s not 1 shred of evidence apart from a few bits of alleged circumstantial evidence. Perhaps a fresh pair of eyes is what’s needed. I know when I started looking at the case - I never even looked at the 4 - it wasn’t until I came to those arrested and sleuthed that they came into view ‍♂️

I’m not 100% sure though orange had offers on these in 2009. If network provider is important - try process of elimination - research the big networks first

I’ve reflected overnight on your post , I can see what you’re saying - basically you’re saying she didn’t leave Heworth until just after 10am (or her phone didn’t) so whatever happened - happened in Heworth

  • #220
According to the new cell phone signal map, Heworth is in a different area to the Acomb area. If CL was killed in Heworth and moved to Acomb, her phone would ping to connect to a different mast. If CL was killed in Acomb her phone would ping in that area at 10 am. Its just a theory as long as CL stayed with her phone
