It's definitely a man. I'd say slim with a padded coat making him look more bulky. The type of coat you would go hiking or fishing in. Slightly balding. Still looks like Halliwell to me.

Their is a website called "thecommentator" which paid professional forensic enhancement specialists to examine CCTV released by North Yorkshire Police. Their is an Enhanced image on the website of the alleyway man if you should want to see it google "thecommentator claudia lawrence". Their is no gap between the and commentator.

I feel like I have seen him identified before though, either on Major Lang’s blog (which is so large that my iPad won’t load it!) or one of the other less ‘official’ sources.

Major Lang's blog is just that a blog. Don't trust it as being accurate or the truth. If it was then the police would be quoting it.

It's PR in blue in the photo for sure. If you you believe alleyman is PR
then bear in mind that his brother SR is similar looking to PR.

The hair line, the build matches PR in 2009 - his classic pose with his hands in his pockets - small detail though it matches other photos at the time. When put to an independent I.d. Survey - 50% think it’s definitely him - 25% think it’s highly likely but not 100% sure and 25% think it’s not him. It would be interesting to see a show of hands here.
