I sent this to Detective Superintendent Wayne Fox, Head of the North Yorkshire Major Investigation Team,

Adam Harland - Cold Case and Cold Case Review Unit Manager ... replied
There is positive evidence of CL being alive and independent after the time of the video you have been looking at. Thank you for your interest in the case.

So does the above mean they have "verified picture evidence" of CLAUDIA closer to the University on the morning on her journey to work??? If so, they should release that evidence, right?

Or they just didnt really understand what I just showed them... NEXT !

Am I missing something here? These images were taken from footage from her way home from work on the 18th March 2009. We know she was alive until at least 8.23pm that evening ?

Hi, I have not been following the lengthy discussions about CCTV footage as I am unconvinced that CL was attacked/kidnapped on the night, I always leaned towards a stranger attack on her way into work. Is that what this points to do you think?

What are your thoughts on the Police submitted a case to the Crown Prosecution Services involving the 4 local men?

Good point and the Police must have had strong suspicions but to me, if CL was taken in the early morning that points towards a stranger. Why would someone she knew get up in the early hours to follow her to work and risk something in the open when they could have done it the night before at her home. Makes no logical sense to me, it it is established it was an early morning incident. Interestingly, a lone female going to work over the other side of York, in recent weeks, was attacked from behind with a hammer at 5am or thereabouts. Not saying it is connected but it makes you think. She survived ok thankfully.

I've thought of another scenario.
Maybe after posting the letter she met alleyman & left her bag by accident but had her mobile in her pocket.
He's realised & tried dropping it off on the night but gets no answer because maybe she's in the bath.
He tries again the next morning but she's already left for work.
When he realises she's missing he flaps it & disposes of the bag.

Maybe he tried to give it to her at work but noticed she wasn't there so dumped it in the park nearby. Hence the bag that was seen on Walmgate stray.

If you were someone who worked at the university, perhaps you gave Claudia a lift to work - so therefore you would be up at that time anyway, maybe you stayed at hers overnight? Personally it’s my opinion a morning event is highly unlikely - especially on her regular route - WHY you ask… because NYP categorically state she was not seen or heard of anywhere on the 19th March 2009!

I'm totally confused. These two "last known sightings" have no time or date but her hair is totally different.
If she posted the letter on the afternoon of the 18th she must've gone home cut & dyed her hair then gone back out.
That would explain the empty dye bottles seen downstairs.
Or the one on the right ain't her?
You can tell clearly the one on the left is

Why wouldn't he just leave it at her work for her then?.

They're both from the 18th of march, the pic on the left is Claudia leaving work and the pic on the right is from when she posted the letter on her way home.

Where have NYP 'categorically stated' that? Do you have evidence of that?

If someone stayed at her house that night they would surely have killed her that night, not wait until the journey to work. No evidence anyone else had stayed the night or that she was given a lift in the morning but that is possible if she was picked up along the route. There are areas on her route that are "dodgy" and any lone female at the time in the morning when it is dark is vulnerable unfortunately. Still trying to keep an open mind.

When were these videos?

Does anyone know, WHY it was said, that the possible 2 sightings of Claudia on her way to Uni (man/woman at a bridge; burgundy car with door open plus man/woman standing across the street near Uni) rather would have been "fake" sightings?? Who meant to know this?
