Hello boys!! I was wondering about the white tulips on Claudias sill. My dad bought my mum some for forgiveness for upsetting her. Did someone upset Claudia ?

First post on this case but an avid websleuther and always hopeful that this case will be solved. Its good to see that so many people are still so invested in solving CL disappearance. Its one that still pops up occasionally on the news in my local area. Was so sad to hear when her father passed without any resolve to this case. Very frustrating that the police investigation seems to bear no fruit. Will continue to follow this thread and with hope that this poor woman has the justice she deserves.

Ah right, yes - sounds familiar. The alley man cctv was taken by the camera on the pole, which is ideally situated to view the Limes Court entrance, but also up the car park there. Because you can’t see which way the camera inside the glass dome is pointing, I wondered if it might alternate between entrance and car park view - though if this were the case I might expect to see a bulkier motor arrangement above the camera. Either way, NYP will know.

I recall street-viewing limes court and there are several cctv cameras on the buildings. As you change the year on street view you can see that they seem to change position. NYP must have more footage.

Am I right in saying the person's wrist-watch appears 14 mins slow? Showing 8:47pm when mirrored (This is open to interpretation) it may give away a suspect... them owning such a watch or being the one always 15 mins late?

Say that the perps did use a garden bin to dispose/transport a body. Why wouldn’t they do this via the rear away from a busy road? IMO there doesn’t seem to be a reason for a bin to be out the front at circa 9pm. So it is odd. It’s too dark to gather leaves etc and the houses don’t really have gardens at the front. It looks like the bins were stored at the rear so people probably took refuse out via their gardens. So definitely out of place if the imagery is correct.

I recall that at the time CL went missing, in the Heworth area they were not using Wheelie Bins. On a post here some years ago, a local referred to them still using bin liners for waste. It was only at a later date that Wheelie Bins were introduced.

If anyone can find Google shots of Wheelie bins in these streets then I stand corrected.

I recall that at the time CL went missing, in the Heworth area they were not using Wheelie Bins. On a post here some years ago, a local referred to them still using bin liners for waste. It was only at a later date that Wheelie Bins were introduced.

If anyone can find Google shots of Wheelie bins in these streets then I stand corrected.

In fact, I scanned the area and even in 2012 I saw no evidence of Wheelie Bins, All I found was a shot of one of Claudias Ex Boyfriends LH, having parked his car (The silver one) quite badly. Hovering around the maroon car, that he used to own but sold to one of the POIs (DER) In his hand he is clutching some prescription Meds-
Now as he didn't live anywhere near Heworth Place:

What was he doing there
Did he still own the Maroon car, even though he drove into Heworth Place with the silver car

Do we know the colour and type of vans that were purchased up in Glasgow by the Cyprus 4? ie a long wheelbase type maybe, or Transit style ? In fact I haven't every seen much reported about the route and timings of the van collection. All I have ever read is they were in England on the night she went missing.

In a press article one of Cyprus guys was interviewed and said that he passed by York o th way to the Ports with the convoy. I believe that they stopped at Liverpool. This being a little strange as coming from Glasgow to Liverpool makes sense but then if you took the simplest route from Liverpool you would take the M62 and come out much further South on M1.

Why would you pass York??

If coming from Edinburgh you would, but less likely from Glasgow or Liverpool on the West Coast.

I went on street view after posting that & was thinking the same thing. Let alone the big trees.
When it very 1st came on the news & it showed the footage of a man lurking around i could've swore he went down a side bit to the left of her house but can't find it anywhere & its almost 14yrs ago so i must be thinking of alleyman. After all he could've turned left to go in the alley.

He could have turned left to go into the back yard of the house on the corner of Heworth Road / Haworth Place:

Wheelie bins existed in YORK on Heworth Rd, as seen opposite the crime scene back in AUG 2008 <
When I say 'crime scene' I mean ONE of the places of DUBIOUS ACTION.

Can even see both GARDEN BIN and REFUSE BIN right across the road from where it all happened.

Isn't that a student property owned by PR? Only using it as reference.
