The police are totally focussed on it being an incident/event being carried out by and within her close circle of friends. After submitting to the CPS they must have FAR more knowledge than the public have. Although the police could be wrong, I think the margin of error must be very small. So, although "motive" may involve, new boyfriend, drugs, sex games, jealousy, revenge, Claudia's knowledge of something, a pregnancy........ and so on and so forth, I think that the public are second guessing what the motive could be, and will never know until someone breaks a silence leading to the arrest of the perpetrator/s and the motive will then go alongside this. The police only have one way of working and that is based objectively on known facts and evidence, and it would seem they fell short on the hard evidence in order to make a charge that had no loop holes and that could create a conviction. All they are saying now is that they need someone who knows what happened, to come forward, and her father is reiterating this. I'm guessing they know the story and need the solid evidence. Until this happens, because "we" all want to help solve the matter, I think we will second guess for a long time........................
