Totally agree @MajorLang, they just didn’t have enough evidence to get a conviction. Maybe all they need is a little golden nugget of info & that’ll have them banged to rights.

Very true pj3, think only way it will be solved, is if 1 of them gains a conscious & after over 10yrs, don’t believe that’ll happen either.

I would be cautious of being indoctrinated by S_C You have to remember that she is probably being fed only what the Perps want her to know. Very similar to Maxine Car in the Ian Huntley case. It's often hard to accept that someone who is a good friend could do harm.
But of course if that friend didn't set out to do harm then they may have even convinced themselves (After 10 Years of believing so) they are not guilty and so very easy to convince someone who believes in you.
Particularly if the culprit is a Narcissist as we know one of them is.
"It's not my fault, she asked for it, I didn't do anything wrong-Look what she did to me?"

There was far too much activity going on around CL house evening and morning for there not to be some evidence left by those arrested. CCTV, car registrations that are traceable, mobile phone conversations, text messages.
When you don't have a body and the Perps all chirp "No Comment" it tells the police one thing but doesn't give them the evidence they need to secure a conviction.

If you have been watching "confession" about Christopher Halliwell" once a suspect goes down the No Comment route it can be very difficult, without the right evidence to get a conviction.

What are we going to learn from S_C? If she isn't going to lead us to the Perps then for me there is absolutely no point in listening to her. Well intentioned that she may be.

I would have thought that SC has told all she knows to police years ago !

I’m curious about something; When the likes of SC, JK, Pl and her mother are quoted exclusively in newspapers and or tv, do they get money for the interviews?
If they do, how much ?
This has been going on every year for the last ten years .
Are all / any writing a book on the subject ?
They...including others... must be getting tempting offers from newspapers and documentary programmes .
Is information being withheld for such publications?

I think it would be accurate to say that any monies should go to the Claudia fund. Im sure they do.

I would hope those connected to Claudia are reading this forum. Ultimately, they hold the key to unlocking this case.
I would like to think that something we mention or discuss triggers a memory or gives them a trail of thought that they had not considered before.
I cannot imagine the torment and heartache this must cause. Especially discussing such very private matters of their loved ones lives. However, I do feel that as time has gone by, they would be more open to all ideas, even distressing ones and just want to know the truth.

Some pay, some don't, depends if the paper has any budget. Its hardly groundbreaking news though? I would think no payment

I would also encourage them to put pen to paper... do not rely on just memory.
This thing is probably a lot bigger than people imagine .
We would probably end up with a trial plus an investigation on some aspects of police handling of the case and what lessons for the future.

But spending over a million pounds is news in itself .
I am not implying Claudia’s case does not warrant it .Plus they may have learned valuable lessons .

I see it now. Its the one where the poster, a local to York is saying the following about P_L

Here are the comments:

" I lived just down the road from Claudia when this happened and I'll never shake the memory of our highschool field being searched and helicopters above the school because Michael Snelling lived next door!
I also know that a lot of people hold a lot of weight to her father being suspicious. A lot of people in York believe that he's guilty of something but I'm not sure what this is based off."

So here she is saying that she has heard rumour about him?

Then in reply to this another poster says:


"I'm also from York (have lived here all my life) and i've heard the whispers about her dad. Somebody I know (who has a certain amount of inside knowledge about the case) said "her dad isn't as innocent as people think".

The reply then attempts to support this by saying that they know someone who has a certain amount of inside knowledge??


We can take this a number of ways:

It is gossip
There is substance to the comments
There is some clever manipulation of social media by Perps

Personally I believe that her Father is suffering most from this trauma and so the above is gossip. But this is for other Sleuths to decide on.
Particularly when some of the investigators like Macintyre and the one with the double barrelled name, claim that they have seen some of the police evidence.

In many crimes we tend to find the clues and then find the Perps. In this crime I think I will continue to work backwards unless convinced otherwise.
