I think the whole problem here is that they are angry because they themselves along with the The Nags Head patrons have been investigated so meticulously. SC said people at the Nags Head were p****d off at being questioned so much and JK said male patrons thought they were going to be accused of having an affair with claudia even if they werent.
So I had to ask myself why would they think this after all a close friend of most of them had disappeared off the face of the earth for gods sake and the police were coming into this investigation stone cold and would obviously look at every minute aspect of CL's life. What had the police said to them to make them shut up shop, because from then on in their media appearances their main aim appeared to be just trying protect CL's image.
For me it was probably when the police bought up with them that alledged 'tape/dvd' and its contents!
It changed everything.
It became more about them and the fallout it would cause, just imagine what would happen if should the media get wind of it.
It appears to have derailed the whole investigation right from the start. Creating a vicious suspicious circle between The NH crowd and the police. This situation has affected the way people are looking at this case. Are people judging the NH crowd over how they are reacting..Yes of course we see it as suspicous and therefore we look for how to tie all this suspicous behavour together but we have to consider if their behaviour is due to how they perceive they have been judged by their involvement/reaction in or on that alledged tape/dvd. If it is then we could possibly be going down the wrong road to solving this.
These are just my observations of the case.
MajorLang has put together an excellent blog I commend him on it and his continued updates on it but I notice it makes no mention of the tape/dvd I hope he wont mind if I ask him and any other of the members here if they believe wether such a tape/dvd exists and the possible impact it has had on the investigation

I would add again I do not know or wish to know any of the POI's in this case.
Im merely trying to look at all aspects of the case while keeping an open mind

the DVD was mentioned by a Reddit poster and so came with no real credibility.
I don't mention it because I can't truly believe that a DVD existed.

From what I've read it was a sex tape involving CL and multiple men, I must stress tho that this has never been verified. An urban myth you might say though a reddit user did claim to know a disgruntled wife who found the DVD in her husband's car if I remember correctly. MOO

2. FB article on the page of a Richard King who is the brother of one of Claudias female friends who lodged with her at around the same time.

The posting appears to be advertising cigarettes on offer (Including Embassy Regal).

Would these be contraband?

If these cigarettes were contraband is this the reason why no one came forward to admit that it was theirs?

I think we are getting carried away a bit here .
I think if you go to a typical pub in the UK you will find with a bit of effort someone who will sell you drugs , duty free cigs,knocked off merchandise and many many other illegal activities .
But taking someone else's life is a completely different thing .
When they say they don’t know who hurt her that’s it they don’t know.

The cigarette brand on her doorstep the same as in the car.
Her friend who lodged with her who had a brother that Bragg's about cheap cigarettes.

There is a connection
Too many get hung up over Blonde hair dye and missing straighteners.

Maybe, but if asked to volunteer DNA to be excluded you'd look mighty suspect if JK refused? And no reason for her to not volunteer as her DNA in CL car or house would be expected. MOO
