She doesnt appear to now as much as her Ex. But unfortunately the Mother of Becky Goulding appears to unwisely convinced joan that Halliwell, who was in an institution on suicide watch at the time Claudia dissapeared was Claudias abductor.
It's all very well suggesting this but if you pin too many murders and missing on Halliwell, the real perpetrators get away scot free.

I don't even understand this. In one breath JL says she believes CL is still alive, and the next she believes CL could have been a victim of Halliwell. I feel so bad for the woman, she doesn't know whether she's coming or going. MOO

i suppose that it's too much to expect that Police would do this?

there is always the possiblity that they may have and upon identifying the people interviewed them and satisfied themselves they were not connected/involved. This would just strengthen the case for a police update to let people know what is now not relevant to the case. If you have a strong feeling that its JK in the car I think it would be a good reason to call to the CCase team to ask them if the vehicle and its passengers were still relevant to the their inquiries.

Yes, I suppose grief does this to people. Anyone who suggests it's Halliwell is also handing out a free hospital pass to anyone who did commit this crime and I'm sure Joan doesn't want that either.
Claudia got in with the wrong people and I'm quite amazed that they are even allowed airtime by documentary broadcasting companies.
When interviewed they act like Primadonnas and as though it is their lives that have been turned upside down. They then get annoyed if anyone has an opinion that suggests it was a person close to Claudia that could have been responsible.
But something transpired in the many hours between Claudia not turning up for work and being reported missing. her friends would have had no message or call from Claudia the serial texter and so that's why it shines a big spotlight on them.

I get the feeling of everyone involved JL knows nothing. I think she has been quite pushed out and maybe intentionally kept in the dark. She said herself she wasn't even initially informed CL had disappeared. She was annoyed that the pic was outdated etc. I feel quite sorry for her. I feel of all the people who advocate for CL, she is the most genuine with no idea of what became of her daughter. She even dismisses that CL had relations with married men which we know to be true. I think she was pushed right out and has spent 11 years fighting to be heard. All MOO

When I just dyed my hair - so-to-say in memory of Claudia - I was thinking: CL left parents/friends/lovers/colleagues behind, but did she leave noteworthy debts behind? I've never heard of it. PL/JL wouldn't have mentioned it, of course.

There must be a very big unforgiveness between the parents, when they never did any appeal to the public together, MOO. Maybe, JL has someone in her mind, which she never would divulge until the successful end of investigation. Maybe, she doesn't know, whether the person would have locked up CL or would have done something worse. Murderer CH would be an option, to get the suspected person out of her mind, what might be a relief to JL for a short time.

Ive often wondered about PL and just what police information hes privvy to
He socialised on a weekly basis at the Nags Head with CL and would have witnessed the interactions between everyone there first hand.
I suspect some of the searching questions from the police that went straight to the heart of the subject matter and needed a degree of honesty may have made him feel very uncomfortable.
Could he have possibly held back on some of the things he was willing to disclose too

I'm not at all suggesting he was responsible for CL disappearance, but is he as in the dark as JL? I don't know. It seems he was more involved in CL life than JL, he would sit in the pub with her, maybe he witnessed things?
