Perhaps it was a new Boyfriend...........or perhaps it was an old Boyfriend or on/off Boyfriend Claudia did not want people in general or a specific group of people to know about

Putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5, if she was being watched at different points of the day in the week leading up to her disapparence perhaps she was seen going in the nearby travel agent on a regular basis (given she was in process of booking Cyprus holiday) and that spooked whoever in getting rid of her.

It's speculated anyway on that last afternoon she could well have popped there after posting the letter and briefly returning home.

Mind you the ear of the Nags Head would've said she wasn't going away for another couple of weeks.

Claudia may of been watched for weeks to see who Claudia was mingling with. This could be the case if she stopped visiting the Nags Head because Claudia may of sensed she was being watched and even already confronted the ''watchers''

I see human bones have been found on the North Yorkshire Moors in the last 24 hours. I guess everytime her parents hear news like this they wonder if finally this could put an end to their anguish so that they can get the remains of their daughter home and be able to bury her and have some reassurance that she is not suffering in some cellar or being abused by a perpetrator/s. Just to give them that peace in their hearts and minds and also somewhere they can go to remember their daughter.

In the programme 'Missing or Murdered' The mystery guy CL spent the night with was described as a 'mystery lover' and someone different from her casual boyfriend at the time.
I dont think its actually been made clear who exactly her casual boyfriend was at the time and just what they mean by 'casual'

Bearing in mind the bf she had previously lived in Sunderland area? Correct me if I am wrong on that score! He was said to be working in Scarborough on the day of her disappearance...... (However she may have been accosted the previous evening and not on route to work as suggested and kept in the boot of a car/van) the location of these bones being found could well be on the route taken by someone working in Scarborough on their way home to Sunderland after the end of a shift.

Whoever committed the crime knew CL that I am sure. Why? Because we have not heard of any other similar cases in the North of England and if it was someone who took advantage of the situation then I believe they would have likely done this before and will have done it again since ( serial killer)..... The only other person with this type of MO that we know of is Halliwell and he operated in the South East and I do not believe he is the offender in this case! I'm not convinced either that the abduction is linked to organised criminals that CL was linked to. More likely that it was a crime of passion fuelled by jealousy or lust. Just my opinion!!

Likely decades old..... But you never know! It has been a decade since CL went missing and whose to say that there are not more bodies buried on the moor! Remember the West's in Gloucester? It started with finding one set of remains and shortly after there were over 10 in a garden and cellar with 2 more in a field. Not to mention the two unborn foetus!

I can see where your coming from; but us Humans can behave in strange ways. Sometimes individuals ''bragg'' or wind people up. The ''winding up'' may be to make it public news to make an aimed audience jealous. Similarly it may be used to deter ''pests'' from continually trying to get an individual into a relationship. Claudia may have told 2,3 or 4 people she had a new partner. It may not of been a new partner as such. It may be a person she had known for years and was seeing casually; but did not want the public to know about

But like you stated;it could of been a completely new partner that no one knew about.............except Claudia and Mr X

If someone asks you: ''You look tired with bags under your eyes'' or ''i thought i'd ring you to see how you are''

You may reply depending on who asked you; for example :-

1. If an ex asked you - I'm fine and iv'e got a new boyfriend (To make someone jealous,think twice or regretful)
2. If a work colleague asked you - I know; i am tired because my new boyfriend keeps taking me out (To show off or possibly spread a message that your spoken for)
3. If someone you thought fancied or was pestering you - Iv'e been going out a lot for a considerable time with my new boyfriend; and he likes to spend a lot of time with me (To gently tell someone to back off etc)

Have a look at KeepitReals video in the link he posted on Weds at 5.01 PM and:

If we take the date of the video footage at approx 1 minute and 50 seconds in (Thurs 19th March - early morning). Does it look like Claudia? walking towards the Post box with the Post Office to her right

This would suggest she set off to work and got at least as far as the Post Office?


Additionally; there is a chap walking towards Claudia? from the opposite direction towards the post box with the Post Office to his left. This chap comes into view at approx 2 minutes and 12 seconds into the video footage

Mr Snelling was of interest to the Police. I mentioned in other posts that he looked similar (in my eyes) to another individual. Did the Police think he was a POI due to CCTV footage.

I'm just wondering if there are any people close to Claudia that looked like Mr Snelling ; and he's been wrongly collared

I'm sure the Police said people have been very lucky. But have they been very clever and have a knowledge of CCTV systems; thus dodging cameras

Someone with status and a lot to loose , someone possibly involved in a relationship with Claudia at sometime,someone with something to hide through crime for example and therefore capable of being bribed

I'm sure someone recently suggested that the Police when they referred to relationships breaking down. Could be pointing to people that were not arrested

Could they be meaning people close to the family

Is there anyone with knowledge of CCTV systems that are close to the family

Why was Snelling questioned etc; and is there anyone that looks like him that are close to Claudia and her family

There could be suggestions that Claudia was being watched and followed. I'll credit the source because I saw MajorLang was sick of people stealing his work. His work should be respected for the amount of research he's conducted. MajorLang suggested there was a small Red Van spotted regularly near Claudia's sightings and home

Was someone watching her movements to see who she was having a relationship with. Or was someone or people worried if she was having a relationship with a Policeman,that she was passing information over about criminal activities

Her phone history recorded that she'd spent a lot of time in the Acomb area; which could suggest that she spent time in the pub where P.Harris worked. But what other pubs and bars did Claudia frequent

Also; would it be of note that if Claudia was keen on Cypriot holidays and possibly moving to Cyprus. That surely Claudia must of been interested in Cypriot culture. Thus; did Claudia involve herself with the Cypriot community in York, and has she had a Cypriot lover. There must be a sizable Cypriot section of the community in York; so it is possible she involved herself: The York Greek and Cypriot Society

It was the presenter of the programme who said not her casual boyfriend but a different person.
The only person that appears to have said that she had a boyfriend was Dan (her ex) I havent heard JK or SC or Jo her mother father or sister say she had a boyfriend which seem a little odd if she had had this boyfriend for some months
Did she really say she had a boyfriend!
