Yes your right the perpetrators, their friends and possibly the police in here to distract away from crucial evidence so that it doesn't ruin any Porte tusk future case
We should just give those types a brisk brush off

Theres no doubt that running more than one relationship alongside each other is a bit like a juggling act but some people become quite adept at doing this and uses each relationship when it benefits them ie: either for emotion sexual or financial reasons its a pattern that becomes easy to repeat as these needs arise be it with the same persons or new acquintances.
Its enevitable that at some stage this type of behaviour will end badly.
In Claudias case and the information we have available
We know that she had a conversation with DO which he said she had disclosed she had spent the night of the 16th with a lover. DO in the programme Missing or Murdered offered up this information.
It was the presenter of the programme who said not her casual boyfriend but a different person.
The only person that appears to have said that she had a boyfriend was Dan (her ex) I havent heard JK or SC or Jo her mother father or sister say she had a boyfriend which seem a little odd if she had had this boyfriend for some months
Did she really say she had a boyfriend!

Not true because the "fifteen minutes of fame-Oxer, said it as did Dan Whitehand

I would have thought you would be pleased to have created a bit more interest.

Im trying to be absolutely sure PJ.. David Oxer did not say on the Missing or Murdered programme that it wasnt her casual boyfriend that she was out with on the nite of the 16th he just says she went out with a male friend.
The presenter then says 'The Police' believed Claudia had a casual boyfriend at the time but believed the person she spoke to DO about was someone else.
So are the police basing the fact that she had a boyfriend on what they were told by Dan her ex.
No one else friends or family has offered up a name or existence of a boyfriend.
I would have to consider if the only source of this info came from the ex and theres nothing else to substantiate it I would not close this line of investigation in my file.
They say the devil is in the detail and I want to get to finer details but examing things right back to source. Someone may have slipped and I want to be sure I followed it through until I add it to research line.
I havent been able to find any documentation that DO said she had a casual boyfriend just that police said she did.
If anyone has a link to documented evidence of it being different if they could link it here I would be grateful.

Apparently Claudia was insecure because she was hurt in relationships from what iv'e read. And that's why she perhaps had relationships with older men; because she perhaps felt they were less likely to leave her

And that's why there could be a possibility that if anyone asked how she was; or commented about her having a boyfriend or looking as if she'd been out late, for example. That she may of said she had a new boyfriend to save face or to get one over someone that had finished with her. So i'm not accusing her ex-long term partner of 'fibbing'. But what Claudia told him;and what the reality was,could of been totally different

Claudia case is decade(s) old now although doubt bones are her.

I've always thought she was just dropped in the river given the sniffer dogs were seemingly detecting that although buried in foundations of University extension is a viable alternative.

And that ties in with either:

• What Claudia told other people about her relationships compared to reality, could of been 2 different matters
• Additionally; it is possible that people were mistaken with what Claudia told them. Or incorrectly thought Claudia had told them something;but Claudia had not

This could demonstrate someone or individuals with a sense of position,influence, power or wealth. Or even all 4

It may even suggest someone with a sense of over confidence and the arrogance to stick 2 fingers up to authority; or like you said, getting a kick out of it

I read sinister stuff like that on Langeez blog; including being barred from discussion groups and having strange things said to him

If there is a person or persons on here up to no good; surely a perpetrator wouldn't be daft enough to get involved?. However; they would surely be more likely to use their influence, hold over someone or cash to get a ''lackey'' to ''nest into'' discussion forums like this in order to report back and sabotage discussion?

On the McIntyre documentary; a Sky? News Investigator said himself and others (i think even the Police) had been warned off. I'm sure the reporter said that it had not happened to him before. Surely this would suggest someone or persons with influence, cash or reputation; or all 3
