@cortina

To answer your other point-The reason police responded so quickly was because they were already Survealancing the Nags Head due to it being a cocaine trading point.

Thank you for saying out loud what I suspected. I know of similar place with similar situation (elsewhere in UK) and guess who was the source of all the trading in a particular pub (and area)? A man from local Traveller community who had got all sorts of local people wrapped up in supplying and some of them ended up fearing for their lives. The centre of the situation was a pub.

EDIT forgot to mention that two of them left the area suddenly one night fearing for their lives.

@cortina

JK I believe uses outrageous and teasing phrases because she is tantalising Law Enforcement and is also keeping others close to the fire.
She has a mouth the size of the river Ouse and a brain the size of a pea.
She is the Moll of a gypsy traveller.

Interesting as I just replied to you with a similar topic and then read this after I'd posted.

This sounds perfectly plausible. I also read that the police responded quickly because of the amount of time that had already elapsed before they were notified that she was missing.

@Popejohn3 Again your wrong
What if Ckaudia was killed after leaving RH mystery boyfriend and he didn't know that he was luring her into a trap?
Also
Do we know that only Claudia disappeared at that time-If she was seeing someone did he or she also get caught in the "crossfire"?
What is RH?

2 questions for the sleuthers here!

1) Do any of you think Claudia is alive? Her parents speak of having a feeling she is. I definitely think she isn’t, sadly.

2) Have any of you visited the Nags Head? I was actually in York last year. I could’ve popped over to the Nags for a pint and a nose!
1) No. But that both of her parents are thinking, she is - that's remarkable.
2) No, it isn't attractive to me. Can't imagine to spend my life there like CL did.

The bankcard left on the bed seems odd to me. Dusting for prints, if only Claudia's were on there then maybe she really did just leave it there and that was a regular thing. But what if someone with gloves had handled it meticulously and placed it on the bed to convey a message? If no prints were found at all, someone without gloves must have wiped it with something.

If Claudia faked her disappearance, whether being deceived or not by whoever she ran away with - was it usual that she spoke to both parents in one evening or just coincidence she did so that night of all nights? - leaving the bankcard suggests a) she didn't want police to trace her nor her family who'd be the only ones within their rights to find out bank information from police during their inquiries and therefore b) leaving the bankcard means she felt for whatever reason that she couldn't tell them what was going on, perhaps for their own safety

Leaving a credit card on your bed suggests you were using it to buy something online-Everyone said she didn't have an online presence but is this really true?

You can use bank cards for other things too ;)

but seriously
if she had it in her jacket /jeans pocket from the day before when she went on her errand and she was going to wear those clothes to work it likely she just took it out of her pocket and threw it on the bed.

Teletex is kind of on line !? Holiday !?
But leaving these things on the bed also kind of rule out the idea she had someone staying with her imo

We are clutching at straws here and liable to loose interest unless the police and or her close friends/ family throw us a bone !

Is she ran away with someone I think he would’ve been on the run himself but with plenty of money
Has anyone rich disappeared?
I think there will be progress in this case as soon as the quarantine is lifted !

Bank card on bed...
Nags head under surveillance for cocaine...

I’m reading between the lines (no pun intended)

Would her friends really come out and say if they were using drugs? These days the stuff is everywhere and I see people not even trying to be discreet with it in toilets. Even 11 years ago it was a pretty popular party drug though as I recall.
