Any idea if the police ever contacted cl’s female friend ... from the midlands I believe whom she talked to and for sometimes more than an hour at a time ?
Has this person ever showed up on social media ?

@Thelastleg I would be interested in the relationship if any the previous occupier had with the new owners at the time of CL's disappearance. Im still working on the cctv clips but from whats coming up on clean ups is that the owners at the house at the time may possibly have seen something and possibly been warned about disclosing that. If this is the case I can understand why they would want to leave the area and its no great surprise to me who the owner is now but purely for the reason I mentioned. I would be interested to know wether the sale of the house was a private sale.
Your cctv is great. I'm not sure what department looks after Title of property in England. In NI it is Land Registry. Everytime a house is sold and the deeds transferred to the new owner it is updated usually through the purchasers solicitor. You coild make an application so see previous details eg if there was a mortgage against the property, when it was redeemed etc. With GDPR now it may not be a thing. In any case fear and money would be a great motivater on keeping your mouth shut

I would say that he figured it out by carefully reviewing the cctv evidence and the flashing lights of the breakdown truck at 5:07 on the morning as Alleyman appears.
Cold case team deny the presence of a truck or flashing lights but if you view the morning cctv evidence the flashing amber lights are obvious reflecting in the side window of the house in Heworth Place/ corner of Heworth Road. I have mentioned it in here before but no one seems interested.
The amber lights flash all the time the cctv is playing of morning alleyman.
Cold case team tried to tell us it was a faulty street light- hardly possible as it wouldn't reflect in the window as streetlight was directly above.
See the 5:07 cctv here and look at amber reflection in window on the corner house both as Alleyman turns into Heworth place and for all the time the cctv footage is showing:
Alleyman-Morning of19th March 2009
Claudia police release new CCTV appeal

Not only that but when you view the breaking car cctv from the camera in Limes car park not the camera facing Heworth Road.
The flashing has dissapeared at 05:40 approx.

Here is the breaking car footage:

I have also attached the view from Limes where the streetlight can be seen and the red arrow shows the window

Council aren't great at fixing street lights, particularly at 5 am in the morning

Who is covering up and why.

Was the vehicle a breakdown truck waiting to take its load to the close by breakers yard in Mansfield Street and owned by one of Claudias Ex's.

@Yozzer @keep-it-real See what you can spot on the current pile of rubble that is in the car park of that classy venue we discussed the other day...
@AcbMurders Looks like someone has now decided to faze out this shot of bricks????? See my attachment. Plot thickens.
I saw many things in your shot of the rubble but to be honest couldn't make anything out for certain-What did you see?

That data protection act is a real bummer .. alot of stuff like this is background work building a wider picture of sujects and is very interesting worth pursuing when time allows so thankyou for your tips it much appreciated @Thelastleg. I think fear played a big part and it was deployed quickly with a knock on the door and a bit of rough stuff from what I make out ( just my opinion) If that was thought to be loosing traction over time (ie people get so scared they speak out anyway because they fear the same might happen to them) then a solution may have been a better house in a better area as a twisted deal. Not a lot of people are going to question a move to a better house in a better area its what a lot of people do so that would have to be looked at more closely, and wouldnt really make a difference to what had happened when all said and done.
Although heworth road is a thoroughfare but if things are executed by someone and others quickly its possible.
Months back some said that a scream was reported that might just have been what alerted a resident and take a look in the first place.
I think the resident the guy in the light mac and the driver of the car saw something. You all know I think the the man walking into Heworth place is not the same person that is walking out (more about that much later theres lots to still do on that) but in my opinion hes the one involved.

these are my opinions ..please do your own research

Just looked and I could see on morning blue cctv! Is this the same?

why would the police choose to cover up the amber lights...how could it compromise a drugs watch....or is someone involved helping the police with this.

do you think the police really want to solve this

Your analysis (cctv, people, cars, lights etc) makes perfect sense @MajorLang What I cannot understand is why NYP would cover up. By talking to them, did you sense something was wrong? Or that they weren’t taking you seriously? At least the second time round, NYP seem to have left no stone unturned and you can sense DM’s sheer frustration in not having uncovered enough evidence to secure prosecution. So far it’s been an embarrassment to NYP not to have brought anyone to justice, despite huge investment of manpower and everything else. I believe DM has done his 30 years in the force and could have retired by now. I wonder if he wants to stay until the perps are behind bars.

My observations are that in the past 6 month's there has been a lot more information divulged on here than was never talked about even when persons were arrested. I hope the Police are taking note. Either if it is new to them or it was covered up. Never under estimate the power of the general public and WS contributors.

Lets face it @Thelastleg the case had been in a reactive mode in effect mothballed. Today we all have access to more information and technology and we can access it without even have to move offa the sofa it just takes time lots ot time and patience.
I have always held the belief that the clues are held within all the information, cctv and witness statements gathered theres that that one piece of evidence that will break the case open.
I for one am absolutey sure this case can be solved.

I was just trying to lighten the mood @MajorLang ! I took the pics when walking past a couple of hours ago and thought that leaving old urinals in the car park will hardly attract a sophisticated clientele Or they could just trying to prove that the place has nothing to hide...

I wondered why the angle of your pic was nothing like the Googlemaps one! I appreciated your toilet humour.

@AcbMurders
We brought to Cold Case teams attention the flashing amber lights

Their first reaction was that they blandly stated that this had been investigated and that they did not believe this to be important.

We then pushed them and they checked further, they returned to say that upon further investigation it was the Streetlight above the house windows.

Simply put

They are not being honest yet they expect the public to be and if not it is classed as "Perverting the course of justice" which carries quite a long prison sentence.....!!!!!

They could have said:

"We are unable to comment, we are aware. thank you for bringing this to our attention. This information may be important evidence and is being preserved for a possible future prosecution."

Well @AcbMurders then I feel that whilst your contributions to date have been extremely valuable that this one was a time-waster and hope that you return to your better quality posts quickly?

Oh come on Major it was only a lighted moment. When PJ asked what was going on at the NH on weds nite I wanted to suggest 'A Murder Mystery Night' again only in a light hearted way.
Lets not loose a bit of light heartedness after all said and done it doesnt detract from the seriousness and the quality of what a person's past and future posts.

if someone connected to the amber lights was helping the police with their drugs work, and it was a vehicle that transported cs body, then the police were misleading the public from the start by. concentrating on her walk to work.

was this just something they fabricated to buy them time so they could get the police helper out without it seeming strangely quick after cs death

Oops, sorry Sir, it won’t happen again! Seriously though, If anyone would like me to go round taking photos of interesting places rather than piles of rubble, or checking anything out, I’m happy to. I wish I could turn the clock back 11 years and 2 months, as there isn’t much that can be done now. I’ve been round Hew. a few times in the last few days to get a better sense of the area and understand those cctv shots. But I’d like to something more useful on the field whilst shops and pubs are still shut.

I drove past PH’s house a few times the other day. According to Zoopla, it was bought for 140K in 2009 and its now worth in the region of 500K. They’ve built above the garage and it must be 5 beds now, not 4 as Zoopla says. He and his missus have done very well for themselves indeed at a time when so many pubs have had to close. An intriguing family anyway, with some relatives well-known to law enforcement. If you google ‘blip boy York ‘ you’ll see what I mean. (R.I.P. blip boy)
