In short NO

Theres no doubt SC is a complex character.
I believe her friendship with Claudia towards Claudia was def stronger than her friendship with JK. SC openly said she found it hard to make friends and when she found Claudia she was a friend she had always been looking for and eventually found so already we know the importance and sometimes intentensity of this friendship to her and I have no doubt she was fully invested in it. More so at times than she really should have been when judging some of CL's behaviour which seemingly sent her into a mood, this was because SC is VERY easily offended.
I see the times this arose and SC always made her CL aware of this in a no uncertain manner. Gold Cup Day at NH she had arranged to meet CL there when she arrived there she found Claudia had been there most of the day and hasd had too much too drink. SC said because of this she didt spend there usual time with her in fact SC spent her time stood at the bar away from CL. SC would have been incredibly annoyed about this. The same with being stood up on the Thurs night she sent a text saying 'Thanks for standing me up!' later she passed it off as a joke text but personally I dont believe that.
Where I would see this friendship becoming explosive if there was a Man involved that came between them.

We have to assume the clips released to the public were their best enhanced images at the time but the years roll on and so does technology. This would clear up significant aspects of the case such as the car reg, the identity of alley man and the possible presence of other people and vehicles in Heworth Road early on Thursday morning. This is one of the biggest frustrations of this case for me because the evidence is staring us in the face but it just isn't good enough.

I think you’ll find she has told the whole world she has not got over the loss of her friend .

Thats tru PJ but theres a lot more to the reasons why she hasnt been able to get over that loss.
When someone says they have withdrawn from life feels and feel they were a ---- friend these are powerful statements of a deeply affected indiviual.

I believe @Yozzer that there has to be someone on here who can get access to digital enhancement of cctv footage. The problem is where NYP have taken steps to obscure or pixelate some of content for their own good reasons.

Maybe they have withheld some cctv for strategic purposes but their campaign day in Heworth Place was a clear attempt to engage with the public and particularly, local people. I don't accept that they are being wilfully obstructive in solving this case. But if DM believes those 4 are responsible, and one of the 4 is alley man (as suggested by news journalists), it would make sense to work on those cctv images.

No disrespect to @Popejohn3 , but could it be that Pope is just very young and naive, or a forgiving Christian who sees only the best in CL’s friends that she’s seen making heartfelt appeals on TV? Also, many people are on forums because they have lots of spare time, seeking company and interaction, rather than the pursuit of truth and justice. I must say I’ve found some of her comments baffling to say the least, like getting SC to join but we all “promise to be very good” and not scare her off. To me that’s a sign of naivety (or something like that), not an attempt to sabotage.

However infuriating some of her posts are to @MajorLang though, IMO she deserves some credit for providing a brick wall to bang our head against. Even that can be useful sometimes.

I think you just have to get past this way of thinking it gets you nowhere.

Theres plenty there to work with it just takes time and if your serious about what your doing your fustrations will ease as you begin to reveal more and more.

@keep-it-real So we are at the point where we have discovered more images in cctv footage than police have ever admitted to or revealed. Discussed and investigated and in some cases, asked questions of Claudias friends. We have observed the body language of those being interviewed in Media and conducted many searches into the undisclosed lives of the POIs.
I don't think that it is unreasonable to ask that police share with us all where they are at as TBH, the efforts of many people on here have put some of police investigative skills to shame.
If NUP stay silent, my concern is there will be many people going down rabbit holes and searching for people who are nothing more than a handy distraction. Tang Hall coop man springs to mind

pope John...I never said it wasn't about finding claudia...I said it wasn't only about that...I hope we do find her, but I doubt it...whoever is responsible has done a thorough job.

I can imagine that, for jk, claudia sleeping with men was one thing but having an affair with another woman was something else entirely.

I think pope John is 10 years old and his main hobby is helping old ladies across the road.
