Happy with that: 52, F, have lived in Y half of my life, in my case. But there’s no guarantee people would truthful or wish to reveal this info. From what I’ve gathered, Major and FromG are older than me. I don’t know about the others.
Age is a shoe size. My birth age puts me at over 64
My mind is of a twenty year old
My health is of someone in their 49s and I am male.
But of course yes I could make that all up. What matters most is how genuine we are because if not we are doing a disservice to Claudia.

There's a cracking Columbo episode called Blueprint for Murder where an architect murders his rival. When Columbo investigates, the arrogant architect goads him into excavating the foundations of his current construction project, to prove his innocence. A hugely expensive task. Nothing is found & Columbo is left seemingly humiliated. The architect, satisfied that his plan has worked, retrieves the body from its original resting place & drives at night to the excavation site with the aim of burying & concreting over the body, safe in the knowledge that it has been searched & cleared. But he underestimates Columbo & there is an excellent 'reveal' scene where he is caught red-handed. I am open to some version of the above having taken place, possibly at the university site.

Is that documented anywhere, would like to read it, hopefully the name of the neighbour/friend that gave the lift would in the article as well
@Kellead If you view the NYP website there is cctv footage of Claudia leaving work and then later passing the post office at Melrosegate and posting a letter. We know from this the timings.
After the post office she was spotted by a work colleague-female called Jo who gave her a lift to her home.
Claudia allegedly went into her house, back out on an unknown errand and was seen returning back home by a neighbour who was a childminder and had a child with her.

... Or the site of a workplace where it looks like work was being done / buildings being erected at this time and a white rusty van remarkably like the one in her street is seen on google street view for March 2009 ...

Been thinking about the majors death theory's, I happen to be good friends with someone at my local cemetery, he basically runs it, will ask him about cremation protocols and security etc, can't go with the car crusher theory as it still leaves a traceable body, whether it is encased in a metal block or not
@Andyboy Coudl the metal block not have been sent to a melt down smelting point

And it seems he can’t walk so I don’t think he’ll be kidnapping any one in a hurry on his own...

I gree LuLu38 but maybe friend of friends..
In a boxing ring performing martial arts
I know a boxer whose is also into martial arts ;)

And here he is (Duch Pete) singing at a wedding in CORAL BEACH CYPRUS SEPT 2016 ;)

Hi Kellead.
It's all in the link you provided:
'she walked back to her home in Heworth, a village suburb to the north-east of the city. A work colleague drove past and offered her a lift, dropping her at the front door of her £180,000 two-bedroom terraced cottage on Heworth Road, at approximately 2.45pm.'
Work colleague was a lady called Jo.

Cortina said but it looks as though the police are withholding cctv....maybe what they've released is just a sop

Yozzer quite rightly pointed out that there are resons whey they cant release some of it. Its still an open case and as long as it remains open they will be bound legally in what they can reveal about the cctv they have presented in their court case and will use again should a person come forward linking it all together they are not going to throw it all out there and jepordize any future case.
Its not unreasonable to ask the police where they are at but that wasnt what Cortina suggested

I dont believe what the police have released is a Sop... do you?

The police requested information on vehicles and people on the website dedicated to investigating the Claudia's disappearance.
They ask for information because in my opinion they believe they need to identify vehicles and the people. If they want to do this is not because they are some randon vehicle or person its because they feel its important to speak to that person.
The first thing the police do is to speak with people who knew Claudia if the person in Tang Hall says he knew her and worked her then they want to speak to him. Theres is no way they would label him as a handy distraction. How does he know her when did her know her how long did he know her where did he know her from does he have a partner or friends that knew her etc all these things are could be possible links to people we may already know in this case. Its an opportunity to perhaps learn more and and possibly find that link either way if we can find him then it allows the police to tie up a loose end.
And to suggest its going down a rabbit hole or that he is a handy distraction is in my opinion a big mistake.
If he knew her from work others would probably know them both which includes their employer .

Possible, but how many of them are there about, there are none anywhere near me, will pop out in the next day or two and see if I can locate cemetery man, last time I saw him he toid ne he had got a new phone, was in a rush and didn't ask for his new number, ah well live and learn, hopefully

This duchy Pete.... precious career before singing. He doesn’t look like co op dude to me though at all.

This Dutch Pete had totally passed me by. Another premature death of someone peripheral to the investigation??? This is starting to bug me. To recap, in chronological order:
  • RC (57) died of heart attack In his home in April ‘09
  • R Ballard (68) died of cancer in Sept ‘14
  • Dutch Pete (53) died in a car accident in Cyprus in Oct ‘16
  • N Horwell (56), LH’s brother died ‘suddenly’, presumably of heart attack on the Algarve in Nov ‘18
Anyone else we know about?

Or that huge cesspit that was investigated !

Totally agree with you about the car crusher theory, at some point along the process I feel this would be detected and that perps know this so wouldn't risk it

....pretty sure crematoriums are subject to strict protocols,,,saw a programme about it once and without being too graphic, it would take a few people within the process to be colluding in order to reduce risk of detection.

This said both ways are in no way impossible,, especially where maybe money is involved!
I say cremation as Claudia had a family friend who was head of crematoriums in her old home town of Malton.

oh him.....but do you think he was involved in her death

pope John....where you've quoted my. post....I don't think it links to your comment.....or am I being thick....

Can we count anyone out that knew her based upon what Malyn said?
