Happy with that: 52, F, have lived in Y half of my life, in my case. But there’s no guarantee people would truthful or wish to reveal this info. From what I’ve gathered, Major and FromG are older than me. I don’t know about the others.

Sure when I came across his facebook page a few months back (he likes a day at the races) it still had "in a relationship." How old is Jen king now as going by a 2009 article PR is now 60 years old! Probably shows the clock is ticking a little bit.

It says that Claudia finished work @ 14:05 and was given a lift home by a work colleague - Do we know who this is? I just think its weird how this journey takes 8 mins (according to google maps - خرائط ‪Google‬‏‏) but the article says that she didn't get home till 14:45 - 40 mins after she finished.

She walked home from the uni up to that post box so that will account for 20-30 minutes and then neighbour/friend saw her and offered her lift for last part.

However infuriating some of her posts are to @MajorLang though, IMO she deserves some credit for providing a brick wall to bang our head against. Even that can be useful sometimes

Been thinking about the majors death theory's, I happen to be good friends with someone at my local cemetery, he basically runs it, will ask him about cremation protocols and security etc, can't go with the car crusher theory as it still leaves a traceable body, whether it is encased in a metal block or not

Totally agree with you about the car crusher theory, at some point along the process I feel this would be detected and that perps know this so wouldn't risk it

....pretty sure crematoriums are subject to strict protocols,,,saw a programme about it once and without being too graphic, it would take a few people within the process to be colluding in order to reduce risk of detection.

This said both ways are in no way impossible,, especially where maybe money is involved!

These are my thoughts exactly.....WHY would you choose to be uncooperative when a very close friend has vanished into thin air!

I understand some of the Poi' s remain in the local area with their families but have always wondered why one now lives opposite Claudia's house,,,,why would anyone choose to live directly opposite her house??! I understand established communities and feeling settled in that area etc but living directly opposite must be like living in a time bubble, in the past, almost reliving the trauma of her disappearance and keeping it alive (so to speak). Why live there of all places??? This may be a comfort thing, such as we're here should she ever return, but for me it would be unthinkable to choose to see that green door every single time I looked out of my window, returned from work etc especially if I'd once lived in the property with Claudia and spent time with her there, laughing with her crying with her....for me this is a very strange choice.

Maybe need to keep an eye on somewhere ...

@keep-it-real So we are at the point where we have discovered more images in cctv footage than police have ever admitted to or revealed. Discussed and investigated and in some cases, asked questions of Claudias friends. We have observed the body language of those being interviewed in Media and conducted many searches into the undisclosed lives of the POIs.
I don't think that it is unreasonable to ask that police share with us all where they are at as TBH, the efforts of many people on here have put some of police investigative skills to shame.
If NUP stay silent, my concern is there will be many people going down rabbit holes and searching for people who are nothing more than a handy distraction. Tang Hall coop man springs to mind

Yozzer quite rightly pointed out that there are resons whey they cant release some of it. Its still an open case and as long as it remains open they will be bound legally in what they can reveal about the cctv they have presented in their court case and will use again should a person come forward linking it all together they are not going to throw it all out there and jepordize any future case.
Its not unreasonable to ask the police where they are at but that wasnt what Cortina suggested

The police requested information on vehicles and people on the website dedicated to investigating the Claudia's disappearance.
They ask for information because in my opinion they believe they need to identify vehicles and the people. If they want to do this is not because they are some randon vehicle or person its because they feel its important to speak to that person.
The first thing the police do is to speak with people who knew Claudia if the person in Tang Hall says he knew her and worked her then they want to speak to him. Theres is no way they would label him as a handy distraction. How does he know her when did her know her how long did he know her where did he know her from does he have a partner or friends that knew her etc all these things are could be possible links to people we may already know in this case. Its an opportunity to perhaps learn more and and possibly find that link either way if we can find him then it allows the police to tie up a loose end.
And to suggest its going down a rabbit hole or that he is a handy distraction is in my opinion a big mistake.

@MajorLang re NYP: I think it would be good use of their resources to digitally enhance all the Heworth cctv footage using the very latest technology. We have to assume the clips released to the public were their best enhanced images at the time but the years roll on and so does technology. This would clear up significant aspects of the case such as the car reg, the identity of alley man and the possible presence of other people and vehicles in Heworth Road early on Thursday morning. This is one of the biggest frustrations of this case for me because the evidence is staring us in the face but it just isn't good enough.
