All calls and texts including video clips and pictures are accessible by your mobile company, they are also monitored by agencies such as GCHQ and NSA for keywords to identify terrorist threats amongst other things, so any data transferred from Claudias phone would be available somewhere, whether the Police would have routine access to it would be another matter. I work in the banking sector and we store all transactional data going back 30+ years, so I don’t think storage would have been an issue in 2009.Regarding the majors txt retrieval query, apparently it can be done even if deleted because it is still lurking somewhere on the sim as data, of course in this case there is no phone or sim to look at, would be probably out of luck with the network provider as they simply don't have the storage to keep tabs on the literally billions of txts sent daily, I expect in 2009 storage would have been at a minimum
I read that phone providers only store data for a limited time because of the volume of data, I'm sure gchq could monitor anything and anyone if required, but I do know of 2 people arrested by police and one of the 1st things asked for were there phones, why bother asking if you can access the data anyway, you could have the information before you spoke to them, the police certainly seemed keen enough to find Claudia's phoneAll calls and texts including video clips and pictures are accessible by your mobile company, they are also monitored by agencies such as GCHQ and NSA for keywords to identify terrorist threats amongst other things, so any data transferred from Claudias phone would be available somewhere, whether the Police would have routine access to it would be another matter. I think they need a court order to retrieve the information from the mobile provider so much easier to get it off the phone, but yes you may be correct about the data retention.Maybe it's just an oversight, but he mentions 9 jobs on Facebook but the only missing 1 is the 7 years he spent at the Monkton where he worked with claudia

Often when that happens it is because he may not want people to be aware of that work period in case references are sought.Maybe it's just an oversight, but he mentions 9 jobs on Facebook but the only missing 1 is the 7 years he spent at the Monkton where he worked with claudia
In a murder enquiry they wouldn't have an issue with a court order.Probably just my tired mind producing nonsense but if you change one word in this
“The last text she sent was saying she had a row of 12 early start shifts, and how she wasn’t going to have a life for a bit.”
to
“The last text she sent was saying she had a row ABOUT 12 early start shifts, and how she wasn’t going to have a life for a bit.“
It gives it a totally different context, and may suggest a person in authority at work putting pressure on her, hardly a motive for murder or abduction, but maybe payback for a person scorned.

There are amazing techniques to acquire information but they need other sources because they will not go to court with just that evidence, otherwise you’ll give the game away !All calls and texts including video clips and pictures are accessible by your mobile company, they are also monitored by agencies such as GCHQ and NSA for keywords to identify terrorist threats amongst other things, so any data transferred from Claudias phone would be available somewhere, whether the Police would have routine access to it would be another matter. Send the POIs there and they will cough.
Media Manipulation? Both from a positive and negative aspect depending on the case. Can anyone shed a light on this for me : Why have family spokesmen in some of these high profile cases ?
Especially when the parents and I’m referring to more than one case here , are highly educated and articulate?
One is wondering all the time whether the spokesmen are in full possession of the facts and therefore one takes their statements with a pinch of salt ... perhaps ?
HIS references shouldn't have to do with Claudia's ex-workplace - in actual fact, IMO. Otherwise one could worry ...Often when that happens it is because he may not want people to be aware of that work period in case references are sought.
Oh dear. MD getting too big for his boots.Father of Claudia Lawrence ‘not aware of statement' issued by spokesman Martin Dales
But Mr Lawrence said in a statement yesterday: “I was not aware of the content of last week’s press release nor even of the fact that it was to be issued. The words and sentiments are those of Martin Dales and not me, as he tells me he tried to make clear. The statement does not in any way reflect my views of my opinion.
“No members of the North Yorkshire police investigation team has ever been ‘rude and unhelpful’ – everyone of them has been most courteous. I have not made any call for an independent review of the police investigation.”
Mr Lawrence, who lives in Slingsby, said the public reaction to Mr Dales’ statement last week had been that he was ungrateful.
He said: “On the contrary, I am most grateful to the police and in particular the investigation team, for continuing to investigate Claudia’s disappearance.”
-.-.-
Pretty uncomfortable, if you disagree with the family spokesman's statement.

Quite, and rumour has it that he is far from popular in Malton. Anyway probably out of work soon as he works for European Parliament as an advisor and aide to MEP'sOh dear. MD getting too big for his boots.
