It will be interesting to see if there is any testimony from the 13 year old, though he could be nearer to 15 now. As you say being with his father and his family could very well influence him .I
Goodness knows what those children witnessed ,though I imagine the worst injuries could have been inflicted when the other children were not in the house.
where is the trial being held?

This is a horrendous case. I live under 5 miles from where poor Sara lived and died. I wanted to go to the trial, but it isn't being held at Guildford Crown Court, I'm unsure why this is.

It is clear in my opinion that every adult in that house abused Sara. It breaks my heart the abuse she was subject to, as a Surrey CC foster carer I wish I could've kept her safe
Some cases are tried at the Crown Court or Old Baileys in London instead of local (Magistrates') courts in London or elsewhere in the UK due to the seriousness of the charges or the potential severity of the penalties involved. The Old Bailey handles cases from across the country, particularly for crimes that are exceptionally serious. I think this is why Sara's case is at the Old Bailey. I wanted to go to the trial as well.

IMOO I think Batool was targeting Sara with her violence, but not her biological children.

Also, the 13yr old boy would be treated differently as culturally the first born son is treated well.

However, if these children have faced abuse or even witnessed the abuse happening to Sara, they should be brought home to UK and given the right care and help with their trauma.

Because as they grow, they will come to know that their parents murdered their sister (in front of their own eyes). They will need the right care around them to get their head around it - and not have their grandparents say "your father legally punished your sister" and according to your mother her death was just "an incident". Just MO
I also think that Sara was targeted but can’t imagine they didn’t face some abuse too.

This is all horrific :(
Why did they hate her so?
Was it because she was half Polish with Christian mother?
Because she rebelled?
I hoped brother wrote the note found in the bed or phoned from Pakistan.
Nope.

I'm not sure why this trial is supposed to last till December.
Those horrific injuries speak by themselves.

The injuries are so much worse than I had ever thought they might be. It feels like another case where the step-parent dislikes the child and it escalates into violent physical abuse. No way though was this happening without the parent's knowledge. Sara's brother was older and male so wasn't an easy target. I suspect the other children were not subject to abuse at all. Just poor Sara.

It's definitely up there in terms of sustained injuries with some of the worst cases I've heard of.

Clearly, somebody in that house was a complete sadist. Given that the bite marks aren't from either of the men, I think we can see the way this is going. The 'wicked stepmother' is a trope of fiction for a reason. That said, it's inconceivable that the other adults in the house didn't know what was going on.

This is absolutely horrific. I'm glad she is at peace now.

No wonder they didn’t let her go to school. :(

My theory from the start is that it all happened with the arrival of the youngest child.

Step"mother" seemed to need a nanny for the infant.
Her mental state might have worsened with another birth.

So...
Sara was taken out of school under the pretence of "home schooling".

Knowing that she enjoyed school,
I'm sure she rebelled.
She was a girl with dreams of future career.

And then the agony started.
Far from teachers' and friends' eyes,
always wearing concealing clothes,
she became a target.

Because in earlier school photos
and ones with sisters,
Sara looked more or less happy.
She had a twinkle in her eyes.

And all happened in silence?
She must surely have screamed and cried in pain, the 11 spine fractures - just how does that occur? the hot iron removing a layer of skin - in silence? Did no-one ever hear anything?

August 8 2023

Just after 8:30pm, a child sends a WhatsApp message to a school friend labelled "urgent", saying that Sara had "just passed away".

I’m guessing this was sent by Sara’s brother

From your link

– August 8 2023
8.38pm – A child sends a WhatsApp message to a school friend labelled “urgent”, saying that Sara had “just passed away”.

9.07pm – Beinash Batool, Sara’s stepmother, calls Southall Travel agency to ask about flights to Pakistan but after 50 minutes the call ends without flights being arranged.

10pm – Sharif contacts Nadeem Riaz, who works for a money transfer business, and says he needs a flight to Pakistan the next day.

Are the first two newly released information? I don’t think I read about them before or don’t remember them.

She probably had trouble even moving, let alone walking and attending class.

"Father" is such a liar.
How dared he say in emergency call that he would "return before postmortem"?

And then skulked like a rat in Pakistan
bringing shame and misfortune to his family living there.
They had to leave their homes.
Some were detained by Pakistani Police.

He asked for burial in the call
(as I suspected)
because not to bury a Muslim is absolute taboo and brings shame to family.

They all 3 are monsters in my eyes.
But "father" is the worst of all.
He did it to his own "flesh and blood".
His beautiful and precious daughter.
Little Sara.
