Regarding U's assertions today: A six-month domestic abuse programme would support refraining from any "slapping" whatsoever as it would be a slippery slope. Much like AA meetings encourage alcoholics not even to sip alcohol again.

Interesting that Batool called Sharif whilst at work to say Sara had collapsed. And that he said he would take the blame, when the account of what had happened, provided by Batool, blamed the other children/another child?

I guess there will be data re the phone call that was made on 8 August?

2. His own son, Sara's brother
( because what children does he mean:
little sisters, Baby boy?)

B never mentioned Sara's brother in her messages.
But explicitly wrote about abusive husband.

It just goes to show urfans complete disregard for his children if one of the lines of defence is Sara's injuries were thought by urfan to be inflicted by a child . What a coward ,if he was so innocent why did he not stay behind .at any stage he could stopped of with the plan to go to Pakistan. Made an excuse ,trip to the toliet to evade the others anything but no he left his daughters dead body alone in that house ,A home sara should have felt safe and secure instead she was put through horrors unimaginable. In the below from that article, he probably says "Never" when the truth is "No"
and "No" when the truth is "Yes"

My Goodness!
Who is this guy?
How on earth did he manage to find 3 women who decided to become his wives?

And look at them now!

- First one deserted and left in Pakistan.
- Second one abused and left childless and broken.
- Third one belittled and humiliated in public and now sitting in a Court of Law accused of terrible things.

And families of the women warned them.
Families could see his true colours.

I think U. is a horrible partner, father, and person
; yet I had a funny feeling about his "confession(s)" from the start. Something about the wording or the timing - I had trouble believing it was the truth, the whole truth anyway. It simply felt fishy. I could be 1000% wrong on thinking this. My 2 theories were; 1, he confessed due to actual honest to God guilt; or 2, he confessed to protect someone else.
I think it was U and B's demeanor, but also the injuries - many of them lined up well with being caused by someone who is a homemaker. Not to say blunt force trauma was not inflicted by U - but the less common injuries - I have always felt were B.

I had wondered, if my gut is not wrong, why he would cover for B. He clearly is willing to leave a wife. But, If he was told it was the 13yo son, I can see why he might take the blame.

I also noticed He's the one showing visible emotion for Sara - too little, too late IMO, even if it is genuine. I don't think for a second he is innocent, he's proven to be an abuser - but I fear that it is sometimes not that simple, and with B he found a wife who can match him in cruelty.

Yes, the 'confession' has always been strange. But if he genuinely thought he was protecting one of his other children, I can see why he might have confessed that way. And maybe thought getting the children to Pakistan was so vital?

It won't be the first case whereby a step parent has given a false account of events to cover their abuse.

The Prosecution concluded its case today by showing additional text messages between Beinash Batool, Sara’s step mother, and her sister Qandeela S. not previously seen by the jury.

The messages detailed Urfan’s physical abuse of the children,
his insistence on Sara being
withdrawn from mainstream education,
and the stress this caused Beinash in June 2022
when she was nine months pregnant.

In the messages,
Beinash stated that she didn’t want to live in an abusive relationship
and accused her sisters of not supporting her when she needed their help.

In February 2022 she stated in a message that she had to act fast and choose whether to save the
relationship or leave it.

detailing that
Beinash Batool sought advice from solicitors in February 2022.

They advised her on non-molestation orders and Child Arrangement Orders.

So the latest from the link Dotta posted above, Batool told Sharif that Sara's older brother was responsible for what happened to Sara; and that her children were not going into care because of his child's actions. That's why they had to go to Pakistan.

I think it is more likely than not that Urfan is the main perpetrator. He has history of DV. He has history of blaming others. He has history of pulling the wool over the eyes of the court. Hopefully, the jury will not be fooled and they will convict him of murder. The other two should be convicted of allowing the death of a child.

Honestly,
I have a feeling I'm in a "mad house".
All are guilty: a son & wives
and a certain guy is "whiter than a lily".
Please, wake me up from this nightmare

I expected something more intelligent from defence.
